We may not be talking to the press but we’re talking to each other. She had her diagnosis confirmed the next morning and we all know that you can’t get a test/result that quickly, so she must have known there was a not-small chance she had it. She’d been to Florida (via her IL’s PJ, of course) a few weeks prior. The party would have been dumb under any circumstances but being selfish and knowingly exposing her friends and community is social suicide and cause for legal action. |
Wow, the details that she was waiting for test results during the party and had traveled to florida on a private jet really should have made it into the article! Poor journalism.
Of the people who have tested positive, is anyone really sick? |
How is a party set up of only six at a table a good idea when in DC gatherings of more than 10 people total were banned? |
The guests went there voluntarily, knowing the law, so I don't see how there would be grounds for a lawsuit. And if it was dumb to hold the party, it was equally dumb to attend the party. It sounds like mutual social suicide to me. |
Wow, someone called in a favor at the Post. The article is not anywhere on the front page any more, even if you scroll way down to the bottom.

Going is dumb but not horrible. Hosting a party when you think you have Corona virus and not telling your guests and friends because you want to play dress up and show off is psychotic. |
That happens all the time. The story came out yesterday, they’re featuring newer stories today. |
Not true. All the stories on the front page online aren't from today. Stories linger on there for a few days. |
I think going IS pretty horrible, actually. You're knowingly risking getting COVID and spreading it to your family, for the same reason as the host -- to play dress up and show off. Hosts and guests are equally at fault. |
So she knew her business partner was sick for a week, spent several days waiting for test results, and had the party anyway? UGH. |
An article has NEVER needed photos like this article needs photos. Come on Roxane, you couldn't get some pics from the dozen pissy friends who talked to you? And you missed the details about the sick business partner, getting the call about the test results and the trip to florida on the private jet? |
+1 |
Herpes too? |
AMEN! And I love Roxane Roberts. But she really left out a few juicy and important details. |
That last part takes it up a notch in destructive and the timeline is starting to look fishy. She got both her test result and her first symptoms the day after her mask-free $800k superspreader event. |
