| Trump needs to fire Barr for insubordination. |
I wouldn't be surprised if Trump agreed with Barr in a private conversation. But when asked publicly, when put on the spot, Trump refused to get involved. Or maybe Barr is a total liar. |
Maybe instead of tweeting conspiracy theories all day, Trump could spare a tweet or two to enlighten the American people as to why Berman no longer pleases him? |
Party of personal responsibility |
Except when their "acting" terms is extended by the Court. The law is fairly plain in stating that the court appointed replacement is only superseded by a Senate confirmed replacement. |
Do you mean activist judges like Sullivan? |
Guess Barr is going to have to provide documentation the President decided to fire Berman since Trump said he isn't involved in the firing. Wonder if Berman will show up on Monday like Office Space. |
He will show up and nothing will happen, unless Barr wants to just openly break the law. |
|
Barr claims Berman will be out July 3.
I think. Can’t keep up. |
That was from last night, I think. Just vaporware, apparently. |
FIFY |
You don't think Roberts was activist in Heller? I have some news for you... |
He is there today, actually. |
I think the whole concept of "activist judges" is nonsense cooked up by conservatives who didn't like certain decisions. My news for you is that our system gives judges a great deal of power and independence. Sorry, not sorry. |
| Trump just gave Berman leverage in challenging the firing, given the plain read of both 28 USC §541 and 28 USC §546 (2)(c) and (d) |
