There are like 100 things SDNY is looking at related to Trump, Organized crime etc. So yes, this is likely one of them, but I am guessing we don't even know what the catalyst was for Barr's actions.

I missed the part where you acknowledge he could have spoken out publicly in July 2020 after being replaced by Strauss. He could have gone to the Judiciary Committee. Did he think the interference would suddenly stop? Brave Sir Robin ran away.

He refused to resign and made enough noise to be replaced by a real prosecutor instead of a Trump stooge.

He thoroughly explained why he couldn’t speak out at the time - DOJ rules prohibited him from speaking and his book had to go through DOJ review before it could be published.

I know facts won’t matter to you but this is for anyone out there wondering in good faith about the timing of his book and disclosures.

This should horrify anyone with a shred of integrity and respect for democracy.
