Or just natural aging? She's 30+ ... VERY easy to pack on pounds at that age, especially if you don't notice your metabolism slowing, plus Corona keeps you indoors so much. For most women it happens in early 20s but for others it's 30-ish before you really have to work at staying thin.

I am pretty certain they are referring to the size of her thyroid gland, not her weight. It’s how a tv viewer alerted Tarek to his thyroid issue- his was cancer.

She is very hot. He is a rich actor who is middle aged, with addiction issues, divorced and with three kids.

He has not made good choices post divorce and has been involved with many women but they still leave him because he is a mess. Jen goes and rescues him because he is the kids' dad.

I don't think Jen care. She wants him to be healthy, happy and in a relationship with someone stable for the sake of her kids.

Ben had every thing going for him but he threw it away. Unfortunately, addiction is not so easy to shake off. His girlfriend will be with him till it suits her and then she will leave too. Jen will be bailing him out for years to come. I worry that this impacts Jen's ability to find a partner in some way.

I agree that he is traditional and a bit of a snob. But he’s a sloppy addict so I think unless Jen got him to get a vasectomy on the way out (which maybe she did) he might pop up with another “oopsie baby.”

+1 It's clear he's madly in love with her. So if she wants kids, they'll have kids. I feel terrible for Jennifer Garner, he never acted that way with her.
