Pp you responded too. Initially I didn’t think she was that cute and I’m not a fan of her voice. However, after all the hate/backlash and beautiful drawings/renderings something in my mind clicked. I want to fight for this girl now. I want this movie to do so well that all the racist foam even more at the mouth.

Are you the one that keeps saying she's not cute? I really don't understand that--I think she's cute as a button. She has a very sweet, innocent look. Even the director said as much:

When she smiles, she does look like a convincing Ariel. Other times, though, she's definitely not cute. Wideset eyes might sound like they should be a lovely feature, but they can look strange.

NP. I am all about her being Ariel but don't understand willfully acting like you don't know what PP is talking about. Her eyes are set apart much farther than the average human's. It gives her a unique look. One kind of appropriately aquatic honestly. She's a pretty girl, but her facial structure is unique. Which is probably a part of why she is a celebrity as 'uniquely attractive' is a good thing to have on your resume.

I just want to say on here since so many people hate the live action remakes- my toddlers LOVE them. They rewatch Beauty and the beast and Cinderella constantly. They like them so much more than the cartoon versions. Sure 3 year olds don't have the best taste, but mine vote for the live action every time.
