| Teams change year to year in some ways no matter what-players develop or not, girls mature physically, rosters shift, etc. |
Spirit out, Vienna in. |
Huh? Isn't Vienna still a partner club of VDA. |
| So the play ups and big rosters won’t be an issue. What will the next round of excuses look like? How is the worst DA the most expensive? |
|
Sterling soccer.

My kid has developed and gotten better under the coaches at WS VA, now Metro United. The cost was reduced and compares favorably with the “all in” cost at other elite options. I expect games to be more competitive next year due to roster changes, but we didn’t come to WS VA to win championships, just to play against good competition and get better. Why do you spend your life tearing down other people? |
| We are accepting today to join Metro United DA. The main reasons are the training environment, smaller rosters and competition level. We did not want to wait a year and miss out on the growth that will come from full time training and playing games at a higher speed of play. Good luck to everyone in making your decisions. |

In order to be United there must be two clubs that have joined resources. Those two clubs are Reston and Great Falls.
"Additional partnerships to be announced" also acknowledges the fact that GFR is the base from which the DA program will be built. The "partnerships" will be paper tigers. Otherwise, it would have been announced prior to tryout time to create hype and player pool migration. GFR will provide the bulk of resources required to meet DA standards. There is no real money in the DA game for the clubs. Ask Larry and Christian. The real financial winner is US Soccer. Metro United, Spirit or whomever cant unseat the reigning champs of central fairfax, BRYC and McLean. |
Congrats!! |
Of course they can. The kids those clubs cut said they can so they will. |
LMAO. The younger kids are dying to leave those two, forget the cuts. |
The kids who were cut from WS may show up on those clubs rosters, too. It's all a merry go round. |
Great place for gear and good guys working behind the counter too. Haven't heard whether or not Metro Utd will still use them for gear, it's possible though. Thanks for your input. |
Considering that GFR has formed an alliance with Sterling SC, it's safe to assume they will be a partner club of Metro United. Maybe not...but probably so |
There do not appear to be any girls teams at Sterling SC so this is not at all related to United. |
