It’s likely the stress. The only time I’ve seen women age so quickly is the two final years when they are up for partner in my firm. It’s like watching a time machine.

You see the same phenomenon with U.S. presidents though I'm not precisely sure what Kate has to be so stressed about.

Are you kidding? She is raising the future king and two other kids who have to look perfect and behave perfectly. Not to mention look fantastic herself and appease the Queen and other people who don't think she works.

Not pp, but lol, do you really think she's doing all or most or even half of the raising?!

Even if she was - Kate isn't the first woman to raise three kids and a future King. I think Diana did a fabulous job. So did Elizabeth. And about a hundred other predecessors.

Di especially didn't look like crap whenever she went out.

I think she is more hands on than Diana! This would please the Kate troll who complains she doesn't work. Also, the Queen probably picks her clothes so I'm sure she has little input on that. And third how do you all know how hands on Kate is? Are you the nanny?

You sound like a no nothing idiot if you really think the Queen of England has nothing better to do than pick out her grand daughter in law's clothes

You misunderstood what I wrote. I did not mean the Queen comes to her house and picks out her clothes. I am saying Kate is given a certain look is supposed to wear by the queen or the queen's employees. That limits what she can choose to wear.

I hope your day gets better..no need to insult people but, if it makes you feel better...

Kate is now older than Diana was when she died, so not the same age comparison.

What is eating at Kate Middleton?

There is no reason someone like her should age as poorly as she is.

I absolutely love this dress. I would wear it in a heartbeat if I could pull it off.

You have to be really skinny to wear a dress like this.

I would look like a disaster in a dress like that

Love the hat. I want to be a British royal just for the hats.

Definitely used to be a serious tan enthusiast. I think that is less now, but perhaps the damage is done. Kate also smoked but I don't know how heavily.

Doesn't everyone in Europe smoke?

Wow!!

She looks amazing!

I love her dress and she knows how to wear a crown so she looks truly regal.

Maxima looks great but she is way older and out of the weeds with little kids.

Way older? Are you sure? Oh well. They look roughly the same age in these photos

No they do not.

Kate looks her age.

This queen does as well.

They look about 10 years apart in age.

Are we looking at the same pictures?

Both ladies look about the same age —- but Máxima definitely looks younger than Kate.

I looked it up because I was curious and was shocked that Maxima is 10 years older! She also has kids so it’s ridiculous to say Kate aged faster because she has children.

No way, maxima looks older. Kate is similar to my age (I’m a little younger). I look closer to Kate’s age, whereas maxima looks like my older friends. The friends who I am thinking of are 8-10 years older.

To point it out on the photo, it’s something about the cheeks as she smiles. And maturity.

Ladies, can we let ladies mature? We don’t all need to be chasing youth!

agree, a million times over! maxima looks older, and both women look amazing - and look their ages. which is fine! you can be beautiful and not 25. i'm sure both see their dermatologists regularly for whatever one's dermatologist does, and neither has overdone it to the point that they appear as if they're trying to turn back time.

I think she and Pippa are both sunworshippers. I was horrified by Pippa's tan at Kate's wedding and how muuch the sun damage aged her. They've both had way too much sun for fair women with lightish eyes.

If both are aging the same way, the likely culprit is...genes.

The Sarah Burton for McQueen dress she chose to wear for the occasion was a total showstopper, resembling the silhouette of a classic Disney princess gown.

With its fitted, ruched bodice, the shimmering silver McQueen number was certainly unexpected for the Duchess, marking a new and exciting direction for her personal style. The effect was particularly resplendent when paired with the jewels that she wore—all on loan from the Queen: the Lover’s Knot tiara, previously worn by Middleton in July 2017 to the state dinner when the British royals hosted the Spanish royals, and Queen Alexandra’s wedding necklace. The pearl and diamond drop style piece was first created in 1860 by Garrard and has been worn by both Queen Elizabeth II and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Made out of glass rather than ivory, Middleton’s Royal Family Order brooch was a nice finishing touch.

I think that Vogue article was throwing some shade - pretending to like the dress while actually dissing it

This doesn't sound complimentary: "resembling the silhouette of a classic Disney princess gown."

"the shimmering silver McQueen number was certainly unexpected for the Duchess,"

etc

Also leading with MM stealing the spotlight seemed another diss

I don't think you can fully blame genes when you live in the rainy UK and maintain a dark bronze complexion year round that's multiple shades darker than your natural skin tone. Which at least goes for Pippa. She has obvious signs of sun damage.

I don't think Kate tanned nearly as much as her sister. Kate is many shades lighter than suntanned Pippa. Kate is also close to the same skin tone as her childhood self. Pippa has obviously spent way too much time tanning.

She loves all the designs from 1977 to 1985. Seriously- even her wedding gown. I was in my 20s then, and everything, I mean everything except for the skinny jeans is from that period- not a flattering time period. But, that's where her head is.

That's because Meghan wore this the day before Kate debuted that ice pale monstrosity.

Actually, that period was the dawn of the skinny jeans, Jordache, Guess and Chic. Our skinny jeans were so skinny that you had to lay on a bed to get those non spandex denim jeans to zip.

That is a beautiful dress, but what is going on with the skirt? It looks like she has an extra knee.

Is that just an unfortunate frame selected by the photographer? Or did her fabric get stretched out of place from sitting down?
