PP. Are you sure you’re not the angry one? Name calling usually indicates you’re upset about something. Calm down. Aging prematurely isn’t a crime. It’s just what white skin does. I don’t get why white women call each other out about it when you all look older than your age.

I am the last person who walks around angry. This whole thread is nonsense.

The women in my family do not look anywhere close to their ages. My mom is approaching 70 and could easily pass for 50. And we don’t do anything special to maintain-just over the counter moisturizers and such.

I am completely convinced that this comes down to basic care and then sun. My family is filled with translucently white, blue eyed, natural blondes. Those who sun bathed? A wreck. Sunspots everywhere, wrinkles, etc. Those who shunned the sun and wore sunscreen daily? Awesome actually.

If you have to “shun the sun” in order to have a shot at aging decently, then your skin’s a mess. I am black and have never worn sunscreen in my life. Not a wrinkle at age 47. I think this is what PP means. White skin just can’t handle father time.

NP, if you were calling PP names while not angry, then you’re unhinged. Or just very angry.

White skin has other advantages.

Maybe you have darker, richer skin, and/or don't do a lot of sunbathing? My spouse is darker skinned and mid-40s; no wrinkles.

I'm black but light-skinned, 40, and not a sun-worshipper--starting to get laugh lines around my eyes, although not really noticeable. I wear sunblock if I'm going to be in the sun.

My good friend has a medium brown skin tone, same age, and is a sun-worshipper; has never worn sunscreen. She now says she feels her skin would look better if she did wear sunscreen when she was younger.

Meghan Markel has wrinkles, fewer than Kate but definite wrinkles. If you look at undoctored photos of her you can see them. She also has freckles.

Anytime you have a natural beauty who is aging natural, you are going to see things like smile lines and eye crinkles. They tell a story of your life and are a part of aging gracefully.

I think the cliffs notes of your post is “black don’t crack.”

I am sick and tired of all of these threads turning into racist dumpster fires. For that matter, I'm tired of 10 different threads about the royals every day. Can you people find another hobby?
