Husband’s female coworker bought him a bottle of scotch, she won’t talk to me

Unless you have designs on that man, I don’t see how this is not the norm.

That’s not what OP did! She called and texted her husband’s female coworker to invite her to hang out. They don’t know each other at all, probably have never met, or only met in passing.

How do you people not understand how weird this is? It comes across so desperate and odd. Of course the coworker wants to stay as far away from the train wreck that is OP.

Did we ever determine what type of scotch? If it’s McAllen 18 or older, she might be an ok person.

I will take a nice bottle of scotch from anyone. Sucks to be the other person thinking they will get something in return. Free scotch!

Fellow wife here. I personally couldn’t stand my old boss’s wife. I was his work wife and we spent a lot of time together.

I hate going to dh’s work function parties and would really prefer not to go and chit chat with the wives either.

Does not mean I’m trying to have an affair. Maybe she doesn’t like you or she thinks it is odd that someone she never met is texting her.
