Am I worried? Not really. My kids are mixed race and speak Spanish fluently, so I think they'll fit in quite well with the "new America". Look, things change. Always have, always will. I am somewhat sad that my (German and Ukrainian) grandparents were discouraged from speaking their parents' native language and did not keep up with many of their cultural traditions in the interest of assimilating. I try to keep as many of those traditions going as were shared with me, which were few and far between. But worried? No. I have been a minority for years at work and have had bosses of different races. As far as the bosses, I've noticed no difference that can be attributed to race and not personality, and as far as work it can be a little lonely at times but overall it's been fine.

I'm white and I have no idea what "white culture" is.

On the other hand, I've lived in minority-majority neighborhoods most of my adult life. I'm actively looking forward to governments at all levels that look more like our country's demographic make-up.

I have serious concerns about the future because Democrats are obsessed with Identity Politics. I posted one of the only substantive posts several pages back...

Illegal immigration continues to be a drain on the resources of this country. Look at all the problems Europe is having with an increasingly larger and larger underclass. Montgomery and Fairfax County are close to bankruptcy due to the massive influx of poor immigrants

I'm a Jewish as King David, my friend. Born and raised in Atlanta. Mitzvah'd at B'nai Torah Congregation, was in the BBYO there until I left GA after college.
