Abaris is horrible. The manager is so incompetent- can't program key FOBs, elevators broken for days, etc. she NEVER had a pool company come and service the pool for the season and just opened the cover. Within a week or 2 the water turned black and the whole pool had to be shit down, drained, scrubbed clean and filled. She had know about the algae and the pool turning black for 4 days before she called a pool company to come service it. Total idiots and her boss at Abaris is just as bad. The owner really needs to take a good look at his employees.

Not really. Just because bratty kids are the new normal doesn't mean that it isn't rude. I would be an awful neighbor if I installed club speakers in my apartment or routinely came home drunkenly loud. Similarly, it makes you an awful neighbor to have really unruly kids that scream at the top of their lungs.

People that don't like noise should move to the suburbs. Does anyone live in an apt or condo and NOT hear noise. Whether it's the bus, pedestrians, neighbors, doors opening and closing, the elevator... Apts and condos are not quiet.

I live in Mt Pleasant, and yes there's city noise. But screaming kids? No. Parties? not without a lot of warning. Barking dogs? no. My neighbors and I try to be courteous to each other. Living in the city is not license to be an abject asshole.

Op here. I'm very courteous to my neighbors. We are quiet and polite to others. I do hear a lot of outside noises from neighbors and street noise but it's nothing major. Just typical city noise not ruckus craziness.

My condo board is insane. We are one of the only families with a child and they let us know that this is not a child friendly building and we should move to a building with a playground. Um we are a block from the zoo. How much more kid friendly can you get?! How would you handle the letter? My son seriously lives for going through the garage.

I really need to know what I can do about the constant harassment I am getting. It's really bad. The manager went so far as to tell me flat out the building isn't child friendly and I should look into a building with a playground. Um we are a block from the zoo and near tons of parks. Not sure how much more kid friendly you can get.
