Think that if you want...

Did you READ the two articles up thread where the Johns themselves talk about why they see pros? Sorry to blow your theory out of the water.

You are just trying to find a way to justify the unjustifiable.

Next tell me all the good reasons why men rape. Tell me about "legitimate" rape, etc.

settle down sally. you seem to have an axe to grind.

This!

Pretty obvious to me for a while! You are talking about the world's oldest profession and it is not going to be eradicated.

Yes, there are women who are taken advantage of to provide sexual services but many do it because it is a way to make easy money.

Men do it for a variety of reasons: lack of sex with the spouse, a desire for something different, being able to pay for the service and then walk away, more uninhibited sex than may be available from a spouse, etc.

Oh this is rich. A woman challenges your understanding of the facts and your response is "settle down Sally".

We are discussing the enslavement of sex workers and your response is that I or we "have an axe to grind".

Your misogyny is showing.

honey, we are talking about prostitution, not the enslavement of sex workers. You know there is a difference, right?

On a related note, do you find my misogyny sexy?

Since the two have so much overlap, it is difficult to talk about one and ignore the other.

PP, if you feel so strongly about this issue why don't you be an activist and do something about it as opposed to just posting on this forum.

I actually volunteer at a women's shelter. I am a NP to the one(s) the above poster was arguing with for a while- but when I saw his inane reactions I couldnt help but call him out.

That line probably gets a better response from women who are forced to have sex with you.

I've had sex with several prostitutes, but mostly overseas. I thought it was great. Go out drinking with friends, no pressure to try to pick up girls or even pursue the girls beyond maybe exchanging emails, because you knew you were going to stop by a brothel on the way home and get that itch scratched. I honestly think it would be great for marriages if they had something similar here.

So your intimidated by the prospect of getting women that aren't forced to have sex with you, and dont want to face that pressure? Got it.
