To men who have seen prostitutes...

That and apparently because your wife won't touch you. Then again, the prostitute has not yet heard what comes out of your mouth.

BTW Human trafficking also includes those forced into manual labor such as domestic or farmer workers. Do you have the same concern for people in those occupations OP. If not why?

And who cares if a person, man or woman (it goes both ways OP and this includes the human trafficking aspect of it) wants to pay for sex. I don't care why you pay for any service you choose.
I am a woman and I absolutely think prostitution should should be legal. You can't say women should have the right to choose a career BUT they can only choose a profession I deem valuable.

NP (woman) & I agree. Read up on the Australian sex worker movement ("sex work is real work") & the Indian sex workers in Sonagachi. There are women in sex work who were not forced into it.

No one, including the OP, insists that every sex worker was the product of human trafficking. But it is undeniable that it is a big part of the industry, and you the consumer support it when you visit prostitutes.

I'm not a consumer of sex work. And I support sex workers' rights.

Why would he do that you say? Because he needs the discretion because he is married or has a high profile job. He just wants it to be a one time thing with no strings attached. He wants to fulfill any fantasies that he cant fulfill with his wife/girlfriend. The money he waste on wine and dining a female, he can just pay to her directly. He can pay and sleep with a female that he is attracted to. Emotions and a connection arent needed.

Lets just say i know something about the lifestyle.

Don't kid yourself. Most suffered from child abuse. Others, are forced into it. If not, they were raised to believe that their sexuality had more value than their intellect.

Let's just say I know something about the lifestyle as well.

Do you have an effective method for screening your whores to be sure they are voluntary?

No, because im the whore

Have you considered the ethics of contributing to an industry that promotes human trafficking? You make the profession look good to your johns. But that hurts other girls.

You mean like all the pot smokers who contribute to murder torture and poverty in Mexico (just for their selfish desire to get stoned), but deny they are hurting anyone and can do whatever they want?

Yes, like that. Except for the fact that there are so many more women forced into prostitution than Mexicans killed by cartels.

FYI, the Mexican cartels actually control most of the prostitution trade. Even in the U.S., they control the trafficking of immigrants who are forced into prostitution to pay their "debts."

Good reason to avoid drugs and prostitution.

For many people, both men and women, their sexuality does have more value than their intellect.

Broad brushes... Along with a warped suggestion that there must be something wrong with a woman if *gasp* she isn't traumatized by it, let alone enjoying it.

I'm opposed to all forms of legislation telling women what they can and cannot do with their own bodies.

Americans are such prudes.

And you can't even distinguish between lawful sex workers in many countries and trafficking crimes.
