I started IVF after 3 IUIs

Age 33

IVF#1--16 retrieved, 12 mature, transferred 2 BFN
IVF#2--cancelled during stims
IVF#3--18 retrieved, 16 mature, transferred 2, BFN

Age 34
IVF#4--Retrieval on my 34th birthday---26 retrieved, 17 mature, 12 fertilized, transferred 2, BFN
IVF#5--16 retrieved, 12 mature, 10 fertilized, transferred 2, BFN

Diagnosis is still unknown. In general, embryos tend to die off quickly and be of fair quality, though some have been excellent or good quality at transfer. I was a patient at SG and we are now looking to switch doctors. SG just wants to push donor which we are not interested in. Normal AMH and FSH is usually 4-8, but was once 12. Looking for a new protocol and hopefully our positive test one day.

Good luck to you all! It is a difficult journey and one we may never understand.

Age 43.10
7 mature follicles at trigger
10 eggs retrieved
7 mature eggs
6 fertilized
3 embryos transferred on day 3: 9 cell,8 cell, 5 cell. Remaining embryos did not survive to day 5.
Twin pregnancy confirmed 6w5d(di/di)
Vanishing twin at 8w5d
Currently in early 2nd trimester with healthy singleton.

I had 4 prior ivf attempts at multiple clinics using different protocols and one cancelled ivf. All bfn. This cycle was best in terms of quality.

Do you mind if I ask where you achieved this success? (42 and considering a fourth cycle...)

Yes, it would be very helpful to know the clinics/doctors. This process is so frustrating.... Thanks!

1st Cycle - Responded Well, no OHSS

44 Retrieved
37 Fertilized
35 @ day 3
20 Frozen on days 5/6

No fresh transfer. Will transfer next cycle.

What was your "secret" for not getting OHSS? They retrieved 41 today and thus, are worried I will get OHSS.
