No actual, real examples or statistics of doctors exiting any states are provided in this article. It is just a fearmongering opinion piece - similar to the rantings of the unhinged DCdumb abortionist.

Okay, try these too. Idaho is not considered the South but has lost a significant percentage of its OBGYNs. Abortion bans do not represent the modern standard of care for reproductive health. I'm interested in a modern standard of care for my family. You can do whatever you want.

Hilarious! After demeaning the American South for 3 or 4 pages of her rantings, when pressed, she comes up with an example from Idaho. Batsh*t crazy lady!

If you want to send your kid off to college in Idaho or any Southern state with an abortion ban, go right ahead. Plenty of posters on here are not going to do that and with good reason.

Planned Parenthood should establish its own university, with a clinic in each dorm, so students can get treated & still make it to class on time.

I'm having my morning coffee outside on this beautiful day in my very nice, lovely, groomed suburb of Baltimore. What did I do wrong?

This thread is getting beyond the topic at hand But why don't you just reconsider this knee-jerk anti-abortion reaction you have to everything. This anti-abortion crusade has in fact been a failure and abortion rates have increased in this country since Dobbs. It has also had a negative effect on reproductive care in certain States.

Just take a deep breath and reconsider your position. Maybe if you were really pro baby pro pro fertility pro kid pro women pro healthcare you could support policies and positions that work in favor of all of those things instead of abortion bans which do the opposite.

Abortion bans are very anti-pregnancy an anti-women's health. Every woman of a certain age has either had some reproductive issue, go sideways herself, or knows plenty of people that have had that happen. Just stay out of people's personal reproductive business and try to support policies that will encourage an increased birth rate in this country instead of do the opposite.

Planned Parenthood does provide a wide variety of healthcare services so the more PP locations the better for women.

By all means, do not visit us in Chicago

The people I know in Cleveland, Columbus, Ann Arbor, Chicago and Indianapolis seem to be living pretty good lives. Affordable housing, nice people, professional opportunities.

+1

Midwest has great QOL for UMC.

They also offer early prenatal care, which might be helpful in an area where OB/GYNs are fleeing.

I went to UMD Law and lived in Baltimore for 3 years alone in my 20s, it's fine. Peabody area and other areas have lots of young people by harbor, just dont venture over MLK and you're fine. Why are we raising such snowflakes??
