I think she looks stunning.

Actresses should look like they stepped off a runway…not like they bought ready to wear from Bloomies.

Stepped off a runway?? Parker Posey looks like she made her dress out of curtains a la Gone With the Wind.

That’s def Ozempic

100%. Another example of dramatic weight loss happening very quickly, too.

She looks amazing. But the dress is so boring. Like a $250 dress from Nordstrom or Bloomingdales.

I agree, but it is very "on brand." Jenns whole thing is like she is a boring suburban mom and this looks like something a tired housewife could pull off the closet floor and be "acceptable."

Nah, it says she knows how to dress her age

Look at the clip on her Insta. The dress did not photograph well. It was stunning in movement, with the beaded tiers swinging. Incredible really.

+1
Bill Maher is fantastic.

Bill Maher is a tool and the dig that Queen Latifah took at him was well deserved.

I love Bill Maher.

Amy Poehler always looks kind of plain.

Are these hip implants??

I truly don’t get the hype around her. Her hips look really wide and she looks like she could be pregnant. I just don’t see why this is stunning.

I’ve always felt like all the Kardashians are average at best, but clearly people see something I don’t.

I think the Kardashians are really good at styling from head to toe. Hair, makeup, dress, jewelry, clutch, and shoes are always coordinated and the end result is always on brand: sexy. They bring a vibe.

I recently saw Kendall on a British Vogue runway clip and she has the same skinny waist and curvy hips. It’s the epitome of female sexuality.

Plus, Kylie’s dress is gorgeous. It stood out last night.

Now here’s what I can’t understand: what’s the appeal of Timothee Chalomet? I can’t find anything about him remotely attractive or special.

DP. Kendall is a model and definitely doesn't have the hips that Kylie has. No doubt Kylie has "augmented" them, along with everything else.

It’s custom Rodarte and fashion commentators are raving about it.

Goes to show you that the fashion commentators have poor taste.

I guess you missed the lecture in Devil Wears Prada, pp? Our opinions on fashion are relatively meaningless. There’s an entire industry of professionals who are qualified to say what is and isn’t good.

Fwiw, the pros are saying the custom silk Rodarte gown and how it was styled brought much needed drama to the fashion for the evening. It was meant to be costumey and over the top, and only someone as fashion-forward as Parker Posey could pull it off.

Wasn’t that whole lecture meant to be a joke? What gives Miranda any qualification to say what is and isn’t good?

No, that speech was supposed to be the moment you, the audience, paused and wondered if Miranda was really the "villain" to Andie's plucky protagonist, or maybe a more complex and compelling character thank you thought.

Her qualification is decades of experience in the fashion industry, ascending to the very top of her field and earning the respect of designers, stylists, photographers, etc. It would be like if George Saunders weighed in on literature to a snotty recent college grad, and you were like "whatever, what are his qualifications tho."

I am over Emma Stone's collab with LV, rarely is given something that actually flatters her.

Agreed that both could have done better.

Both have cute figures and we’re wearing dresses with weird cuts and bad colors for them.

DP. I really liked Emma Stone's pale yellow outfit - and her hair looked great.

The men looked sharp and very handsome: Joe Alwyn, Timothée, Damson Idris, the Heated Rivalry boys. The women mostly had the same face (botox + fillers), body (Ozempic), and makeup.

Can we add Leo to the obviously on Ozempic list?

The top of Emma Stone's dress looked like a bib you wear at the dentist to keep from drooling on your shirt.

I thought it was going to be worse than this by all the negative comments - it’s not that bad - at least she is doing her own thing in an arty way - just as she does as an actress. I’d be tempted to show off my belly button if my midriff looked like that.

Here's another angle. I think it's very cool looking:

Kendall—like Kylie—has a tiny waist and curvy hips. Check out the link. The big difference is that Kendall is taller and carries the curves differently.

Anyway, all the Kardashians have done waist training with special corsets, and the younger two had the advantage of learning from the older sisters.
