But this chartreuse color is actually my green white whale (my green whale) this year. I'm obsessed with this shade and really want to pair it with olive green. It's hard to find in general though. I *love* it in this fabric, which looks like scaled armor, and it's great against Thompson's coloring. Shape is simple and classic but the color and texture is doing a lot of work. Thumbs up.

This was one of my favorites and I find this shade of coppery green to be much more sophisticated than the Kermit green of Rose Byrne's dress. TT looks fantastic.

I agree, I liked it too. I wish she'd go back to her true brunette hair color though:

She has naturally blonde hair (now probably mousy brown since she is older).

I loved the dresses on Kirsten Dunst, Rose Byrne, and Rashida Jones.

I hated the look Emma Stone went with, I don't need to see her belly button.

The Kardashian women have all had massive amounts of plastic surgery, google Kylie's original face. Kim and Kendall are more naturally beautiful but Kendall has had plenty done, look at pictures of her as a teen.

I'll be honest, I don't love it. I think this color combo could be great, but the lime green band at the tip looks messy to me and gives it a bath towel vibe. Also, while I also prefer her as a brunette, my biggest issue with her hair here is that it looks dated with the little tendrils around her face. It's very "2005 prom" for me.

She's looked really great recently at awards shows, but this is a miss for me.

I like this dress but don't love it. The shade is just too Kermit the Frog.

+1

I find this color unpleasant. Another shade of green would have been lovely. And her boobs were saggy.

No, she is a natural brunette. This was discussed at length on another thread.

Keri Russell looking fabulous. Not sure if this is a dress or some sort of harem pants, but she's rocking it. Love the smoky eye.

Kristen bell not loving her dress on her, but I would like it on someone else. Her hair is too stark for the dress.

Claire Danies mixed feelings. Love her hair but not makeup. Zac Pozen dress maybe a color ins tead of white.

Yes JLo looked fabulous in her gown.

She looks better than the majority of women half (and more!) her age.

I just Googled her, results said she is currently 56.
My jaw is still on the floor because realistically she does not look a day over 38.

I thought Kirsten Dunst's dress was beyond basic and boring.

I actually liked the Fannings' dresses, especially Elle's. They are so fair that darker colors would probably overwhelm them. I like the subtle shades of their gowns.

Zoe Kravitz looked like a little girl playing dress up. Awful.

Rose Byrne - she looked pretty but the color of the dress is very jarring and I agree, very Kermit-like.

JLo - ridiculous.

JLaw - silly. And I generally love what she wears.

Emma Stone - love her hair and the shade of her top/skirt. Interesting cut.

Emily Blunt - asymmetrical and also jarring to look at. Looks like she dislocated her shoulder.

Rashida Jones - lovely.

Tessa Thompson - gorgeous.

Jennifer Garner - beautiful and elegant.

I don't think Kate Hudson has been discussed -- this look is gorgeous. You know, she has quietly great style instincts but I feel like she doesn't get a ton of credit for it. It's always this slightly 70s vibe but she finds ways to update and make it feel relevant, and also make it work just right for her looks and body. Miley Cyrus does something similar -- slightly different style (still kind of 70s but sometimes more rock, sometimes more disco, whereas Hudson has a rock country vibe) but is similarly great at finding *just* the right dress or piece.

Anyway, they both looked fantastic in their own way. Here are pics:

I know some people will find it a bit matronly and lace too much, but I feel like this dress was made for her and that it wouldn't look right on most other actresses. Also her hair looks amazing:

My 9 year old DD was watching with me and when Sarah came out she gasped and said “oh who is that? She is so beautiful.” She is, and she looks amazing here.

Agreed halo looks fabulous but 38? Come on she’s a gorgeous woman, but she doesn’t look like she’s in her 30s or even early 40s anymore. She can maybe pass for 10 years younger.

There are too many tells in the facial structure and things that tell a person’s age. google pictures of J Lo are in her l30s and you’ll see what I mean. A woman can be beautiful and still look within about 10 years of her age.

DP but her body looks like that of a woman in her 30s, I think that's what people are responding too.

She was performing recently in a super skimpy outfit and said something like "if your body looked like this, you'd dress this way too." And the thing is, even though I'm sure she avails herself of procedures and everything, she's stayed in that shape her entire adult life largely by working out (daily, for hours) and sticking to a strict diet. She's very disciplined and hardworking. So I get why she'd just want to show it off.

I just personally didn't like the style of this dress.
