| Apparently the door to door raids have already started. They are pointing guns at the houses. |
It doesn't matter. They CANNOT enter private homes without a warrant even if that home straddles the border. The rule people are referring to allows searches of means of transportation and the ability to detain people (briefly or until ICE shoots them in the face, whichever comes first). They mau enter yards and open spaces within 25 miles of the border without a warrant. They may NOT enter your home without a wrrant, ever (other that normal 4th amendment exceptions - hot pursuit and exigent circumstances being 2 that may apply). |
Hundreds of instances of this not being true. Just google: ice detain citizen |
They can’t search vehicles. But they can claim that a canine alerted and keep you there all day. |
They only need reasonable suspicion to search a vehicle within 100 miles of the border. That applies to both ICE and CBP. |

If you have guys with guns on your porch, you can take a chance they will not kill you for no reason. I’d rather go down shooting, personally. |
We can change that too. |
tell it to the mom who was shot and killed this week |
Threatening federal agents should be an obvious thing to avoid. It's not specific to ICE. |
Define “threatening”. Apparently that includes any behavior that is not strictly pissing yourself in fear. Those emotional PTSD cases can’t handle normal human interaction without lashing out like scared little animals. |
Because presidents from both parties have been ignoring the rule about keeping people in detention while their cases are being heard. |
Ok. So when they forcibly make their way inside, then what? They aren’t supposed to, but they can. |

Key Aspects of Minnesota's Castle Doctrine:
No Duty to Retreat: You are not legally required to run away from a threat in your home, car, or workplace. Authorized Use of Force: You can use force, including deadly force, if you reasonably believe it's necessary to prevent a forcible felony (like burglary, assault) or to stop great bodily harm or death. Presumption of Threat: There's a legal presumption that you reasonably feared imminent threat if someone unlawfully enters your dwelling, though this doesn't apply to lawful residents. Immunity: Laws provide immunity from prosecution if your use of force is justified, placing the burden on the state to prove otherwise. Reasonable Force: The force used must still be reasonable given the circumstances; if the threat ends, the right to use force ends. https://www.senate.mn/departments/scr/billsumm/summary_display_from_db.html?id=7048 |
That’s a good question. I assume that you’ll want to record everything as much as possible, possibly doing it via livestream. People in danger really should have hidden cameras inside their home so when they come in to murder rape and steal you’ll at least have that as backup. |
