It doesn't matter.  They CANNOT enter private homes without a warrant even if that home straddles the border.  The rule people are referring to allows searches of means of transportation and the ability to detain people (briefly or until ICE shoots them in the face, whichever comes first).  They mau enter yards and open spaces within 25 miles of the border without a warrant.  They may NOT enter your home without a wrrant, ever (other that normal 4th amendment exceptions - hot pursuit and exigent circumstances being 2 that may apply).[/quote]
