I disagree. Most people I know who consider themselves “Democrats” (we don’t register under a party in VA), have no problem with a targeted arrest of someone who has committed a crime. If person X has committed a crime, then law enforcement, including ICE, should operate to apprehend that individual and the legal system can run its course. What people do have a problem with are large militarized sweeps that are designed to hopefully catch people in a who are not legally on the country. What people have a problem with is allowing agents to detain and question someone based on their job, skin color and/or accent.
