BREAKING: DHS reports the number of illegal aliens arrested in the CA cannabis farm raids on Thursday is now up to 361, including:

- Previously deported Mexican alien convicted of kidnapping, attempted rape, & attempted child molestation.
- Mexican alien convicted of rape & DUI.
- Salvadoran alien convicted of DUI & hit & run w/ property damage.
- Mexican alien convicted 3x for burglary and a DUI.

DHS says 500+ rioters attempted to interrupt the operation, and four U.S. citizens have been arrested for assaulting or resisting federal agents.

14 migrant juveniles found in the cannabis farms, including 9 unaccompanied minors.

At this point I do not believe anything ICE says.

Me either. Putting Trump in charge of cleaning up our immigration mess is like hiring a plumber to fill a tooth cavity.

Democrats push for immigration reform, amnesty now enforcement later.

Then they will pass on the enforcement.
Anyone who slips through, they will not deport.

That’s very silly. Biden had a plan, Trump killed it through his sycophants. Now we are stuck with this kindergarten version 1939 Germany.

Trump and Biden's kick 'em all out, let 'em all in, kick 'em all out plans are an embarrassment to this civilized first world country and this is a primary reason why most experts consider them the worst two presidents ever. Do better people.

You are exhausting with your relentless habit of lumping Biden and Trump together. Biden may have had his faults, but was more than qualified to be president while Trump just pretendsto play one on TV. It’s apples and oranges.

If what is alleged is true that minors and over 300 workers were undocumented then there is really an issue that Democrats need to look at. Democrats used to be FOR workers rights.

A cannabis cultivator has so many extra regulations such as employees being at least 21. Jobs there are NOT even technically agricultural jobs because it is a different category.

California Business and Professions Code section 26065 (“Section 26065”) provides simply that employees “engaged in the cultivation of cannabis under this division shall be subject to Wage Order No. 4-2001 of the Industrial Welfare Commission.” But, on its face, Wage Order No. 4-2001 (Wage Order 4) only applies to “persons employed in professional, technical, clerical, mechanical, and similar occupations whether paid on a time, piece rate, commission, or other basis.”

Meanwhile, Wage Order No. 14-2001 (Wage Order 14) covers “Agricultural Occupations,” Wage Order No. 8-2001 (Wage Order 8) covers “Industries Handling Products After Harvest,” and Wage Order No. 13-2001 (Wage Order 13) covers “Industries Preparing Agricultural Products for Market, on the Farm.” But because of California’s cannabis laws, none of these three “agriculture” wage orders apply to the cultivation of cannabis.

So why does this matter:
1) Cannabis Cultivators Need to Pay More Overtime Wages
2)Fewer People are “Overtime Exempt” on a Cannabis Farm
3) There are more regulations for better conditions for workers.
Wage Order 4 requires climate control for workers unlike agricultural work, separate from bathrooms, a changing room with “suitable lockers, closets or equivalent for the safekeeping of employees’ outer clothing during working hours,” (ii) “an adequate number of suitable seats” within “reasonable proximity to the work area,” and (iii) “suitable resting facilities.”
4) Union / Labor Peace Agreement Requirements
California law requires cannabis employers with 10 or more employees to maintain a labor peace agreement (LPA) with a bona fide labor union as of July 1, 2024 (previously the threshold was 20 employees).
Glass House had previously signed LPAs with Professional Technical Union Local 33 (Pro-Tech), which was later determined by state regulators and the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board to be a "sham union" lacking legitimate collective bargaining authority.
The Teamsters union filed formal complaints, arguing these arrangements allowed Glass House to sidestep genuine labor representation.
In response, Glass House stated it is transitioning to compliance. Public records show that in February and March 2025, Glass House Camarillo Cultivation entered updated LPAs with the Seafarers Entertainment and Allied Trades Union (SEATU), a recognized labor affiliate of the Seafarers International Union, to cover Ventura County operations.

I don't think undocumented agricultural laborers should be targeted or there should be raids. However, there is a reason Cesar Chavez was concerned about undocumented workers undercutting union workers who were fighting for their rights. This is a company with SEVERAL wage theft/working conditions lawsuits that have been filed. There are rumors that it was around payday so do the over 300 people who were taken away have to be paid? How many of them filed lawsuits or were involved in class action lawsuit about wage theft?

The pay listed for many of the jobs are not bad some are $20-$22 dollars an hour, some are $22-26 dollars an hour. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't find legal workers. $20 an hour is $42,000 a year without overtime. That isn't a lot since housing is so expensive but a couple could be earning $84,000 with no high school education. This work has to be conducted in "climate controlled" environment in greenhouses which is different than agricultural work which I think is much harder to find workers who will work in the fields under the sun. It is just so much easier to exploit over 300 undocumented workers (and children) in an industry that is producing something that isn't a basic need like food, clothing, etc.

Yes, this is exactly what happened in 1986, when Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act, granting amnesty to nearly 3 million undocumented immigrants. Democrats, led by Tip O’Neill, promised strong border security and employer sanctions to gain Republican support for the amnesty provision. However, Democrats failed to deliver on their promises. This fueled ongoing illegal immigration and conservative distrust in subsequent immigration reforms.

No one in their right mind is equating Biden with Trump. Biden will go down as the second worst or one of the worst presidents we've ever had but Trump is on an island by himself as far as worst POTUS ever is concerned. Needless to say, neither should have ever been handed the keys to The White House.

Sorry for hurting your feelings. Geeesh

All presidents use autopens: "The use of autopens by presidents for official actions has been deemed legal by the Department of Justice's Office of Legal Counsel."

He has been using that "rapists/murderers/child predators" line since he came down the escalator. The vast majority of deportees do not have criminal records. And if he were so concerned with those things, why did he 1) commit acts of rape and sexual abuse himself 2) hang out with someone he knew was a child predator (Jeffrey Epstein) and 3) pardon people who had committed similar crimes?

January 6 pardon recipients with prior sex‑related crimes

Theodore Middendorf – Pled guilty to “predatory criminal sexual assault of a child” (victim was 7); received a 19‑year sentence and was pardoned on Jan. 20 2021

David Daniel – Charged with possession/production of child pornography involving young girls; pardoned following his Jan 6 assault charges

Andrew Taake – Initially charged with soliciting a minor online; also pardoned for Jan 6-related assault

Kasey Hopkins – Convicted in 2002 for forcible rape (choking victim); had prior assaults and drug offenses before Jan 6 pardon

Totally disagree. Trump has accomplished far more during his first 6 months than most presidents accomplish during their full term. I think he has done a fabulous job.

Both of our awful major political parties have had control of The White House and Congress numerous times over the past 3 decades and yet Congress has never come through with meaningful Immigration reform measures that would allow economic migrants to come here more easily to work legally or border security measures that would completely secure the border. Trump of course failed on his promise to build a wall after making that his number one campaign promise in 2016.

It's almost as if our two major political parties prefer to keep the immigration/border security hot button issue in place for continued use as a tool to further divide the sheep..... hmmmmmmm... stop being their gullible sheep people..

Both parties are so disappointing. Why weren't the Cannabis farm supervisors /owners cited and/or arrested? Interesting how they donated money to different politicians over the past few years. If politicians can figure out how to have so many H1B visas for tech companies there is obviously a way to have legal immigration for agricultural workers and factory workers so that those workers aren't exploited. Having so many people who are undocumented leads to massive wage theft and deteriorating working conditions.

Some of the working conditions are like Upton Sinclair's The Jungle.
For example, the quartz counter industry is killing young immigrant men in California. This is an article from JAMA:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37486642/

Silicosis Among Immigrant Engineered Stone (Quartz) Countertop Fabrication Workers in California

Silicosis associated with inhalation of respirable crystalline silica among engineered stone countertop fabrication workers is an emerging health concern.

A study of 52 relatively young men (51 were Latino immigrants, median age 45) who worked making quartz counters found
20 (38%) patients had advanced disease (progressive massive fibrosis) with severely or very severely reduced forced expiratory volume
10 of these cases (19%) were fatal; median age at death was 46 (38-51) years
6 patients (12%) were alive with chronic resting hypoxia.
11 were referred for lung transplant: 3 underwent transplant with 1 fatality; 7 were declined transplant, with 6 fatalities; and 1 died prior to listing.
