Is $TSLA a buy here?

It’s satisfying to watch Tesla falling apart.

Who did they think was buying Teslas? Trump rednecks? Trumpers can’t afford eggs. It was liberals - well educated and well paid.

You are not a good businessman if you don’t know your target audience.

Yes maga but it now

I think TSLA is a bargain right now. People invest in it because its an AI company, not because it is a car company. While falling sales will batter the stock, the real value of the company will be untouched by this since it is the AI that is valuable. TSLA is much more like MindGeek than like Ford.

This isnt true. Its been researched. The owners are evenly split politically. I'm a Trump redneck and I own 3 Teslas. And eggs!

lol, lol, AI company my ass. If Tesla is AI, what is Waymo an AGI company? Tesla is so far behind in autonomous driving it's not even a competition anymore. Tesla is a meme/hype stock and Elon was good at that but he seems to have lost the plot and now looks like a Nazi tank commander with that hat.

+1 The "target audience" is a person who wants an EV that is a good car. Politics aside. A car is not a political decision. It's a car first and foremost.

Here's the obvious inspiration for his look.

You are in a denial if you don't think Elon has made it political. It's certainly political at this point.

Sure, and I’m the reincarnation of James Dean.

Teslas are city cars, and Trump voters, as a whole, are not city dwellers. I travel frequently to visit family in deep red areas, and have never seen a Tesla. Plenty in and around DC, and those mostly were people who bought them before he started wearing clothes and saluting in homage to Nazis. I think possibly some not super-MAGA Republicans and Libertarians also bought into Tesla. But in Trump country you will find posters with a Trump head superimposed over Rambo’s body, and Let’s Go Brandon bumper stickers all over the place. You will not find a Tesla or Cybertruck.

You can say that but two entire generations of Jews and others would not buy a VW or Mercedes.

AI is almost a commodity at this point.

I think all the models are based on similar public research, it’s mostly just applying them at larger and larger scale with more data?

Musk is done with TSLA. His real passion is SpaceX, everything else was about making money to make SpaceX get to mars.

Tesla made him wealthy enough to buy the government, and now he can use the power of the purse to funnel money to SpaceX to make Mars happen within a decade. It’s obvious he was never a man to live a life of luxury anyways, he’s driven by a lust for power and “saving humanity” while he actually hates humans.

TSLA doesn’t matter to him, it’s just an ends to means and served its purpose.

There’s a reason SpaceX is still private.
