They did ask her about fracking and they did ask her about whether she believed in abortion up to 9 month. But she didn’t answer either. She said she signed the tie breaking vote for fracking. That didn’t explain her view. She had a positive day but she skated in a lot of fluff and vibes and smiling teeth and hand motions. Light in substance as always and moderators let her.

Like she said, it’s insulting to women to even ask that question. Of course no one thinks murder infanticide should be legal.

But at what month of pregnancy is it not ok to abort?...

When the fetus is viable.

As medical technology expands, the date of viability goes back further and further though. Right now, a baby that’s 22 weeks old can survive with deep medical intervention.

Some babies have survived birth in the first trimester. So much for a clump of cells

Really? Got any citations for that? That’s less than 14 weeks. Lungs are completely undeveloped — among other things.
Sounds like an unsupported lie.
And yes, at one point we’re talking a clump of cells — with potential.

Can is a stretch. And who pays for that deep medical intervention. And the resulting therapies. And a loss of work.
Under 24 weeks is less than 50% of survival and that's with deep medical intervention.

germany weighs in with their own fact check

The Republicans who are bothered by the moderators fact checking Trump but not Harris aren't looking at the big picture.

Trump lied about 30 times (possibly more), and was fact-checked about 6 times. So over 20 times he was not fact checked for his lies.

Harris possibly lied a handful of times, maybe as many as 5-6 times. And was not fact checked.

They still let Trump get away with about 3 times as many lies as Harris without fact checking them.

What if the fetus can survive but the infant cannot?
Do you bear a child without essential organs only to watch them die a traumatic death?

This would be an extremely rare occurrence. What’s way too common now is women who brag about their abortions which they had because it was an inconvenient time for them to be pregnant and also giRlpOwEr.

Wow. So you’re anti-choice because you’re obviously anti-women spewing that nonsense.

I work in neonatal care and it’s unfortunately not a very rare occurrence. It’s not considered an abortion at that point, but labor could be induced for a nonviable infant and then palliative care could be initiated. Now we have moms forced to carry their non viable infants to term knowing that they would die as soon as they were delivered.

Before, there certainly were moms that made the choice to do this, but it’s heartbreaking when women are forced to. And I’ve come across that twice in the last month.

Your post needing a fact check is the worst.

The constant need to “both sides” everything is stupid. The GoP/Trump are just out of control with the lies. It isn’t a both sides situation at all.

Germany was also going to buy Russian natural gas via Nordstream. Sounds like a reasonable energy policy if I ever heard one. Don't take advice from idiots.

The Germans don’t like Trump and his lies either, and he is one of them.

That purchase was before the Russian invasion into Ukraine. Chenier Energy, US company, was the backup to supply LNG to Europe after the Russian sanctions.

Which, inexplicably, Trump blamed Biden for "approving". I was not aware that POTUS has the power to regulate gas lines on foreign soil. But if they are, then why did he "approve" Nordstream 2, which began construction in 2018??

Wait...what??? You honestly believe this?
No baby, anywhere, at any time, has ever survived a delivery at 13 weeks' gestation, which is the end of the first trimester.
Are you a man? How are you honestly THIS clueless about human reproduction??? I'm honestly flabbergasted someone actually believes this is possible.

There are a lot of (deliberately?) ignorant adults out there. A surprising number of adults believe that an embryo is actually a very tiny but fully functioning, viable “unborn baby” — that just gets bigger throughout a pregnancy.

I don’t think “health” classes are required in public schools anymore.
