According to my son, the Indy player was trash talking and skirmishing after game ended but before the handshake line, which resulted in the ref announcing that he is ejected from the NEXT game. This happened at the scorers table which is why parents are not aware of it. But from the parent sideline I could hear this player running his mouth the whole game. For Yorktown's sake, I hope that VEL upholds the ref's decision, so they can have reasonably clean game without one kid trash talking and taking cheap shots all over the field.

I peeked in on the Yorktown/ Independence game to see if the kid was playing. I am 99.9% sure the kid was playing today (can anyone 100% confirm?),

However, my opinion is that it is “trashy” for someone to disparage a league (VEL), EB, the refs, 25+ other kids, a school, parents etc. on an anonymous message board, when I have seen with my own eyes that this team is no worse then their opponent yesterday. In my opinion Yorktown had more illegal hits, more trash talk and trying to start a fight after the game.

Next, I disagree about your statements. There have been comments on this board saying that "if VEL does not suspend him" etc. Well EB was very clear in his email this past week that any suspensions will be upheld. The kid was NOT suspended, therefore the PPs in my book lied about the situation. This casts doubt and disparagement about VEL, EB , Refs etc. That is the way I see it and I do not appreciate it at all.

Further, comments have been toward one player and then expanded to include the whole team and then the parents. Other kids and parents are not responsible for one kids actions. No more then you are responsible for your siblings, coworkers, friends actions. To lump people together like that is a sign of a feeble mind.

More so, I saw part/ most of the Independence game this week. Yorktown WAS to dirtier team all around- hits, mouth and trying to pick a fight at then end of the game. It is a fact and I saw this with my own eyes.

In fact, when I saw the post game incident on video I was one of the first ones here to say that he should be suspended and of the opinion that it should have been for the rest of the season. Different Langley parent here. According to my son, the Indy player was trash talking and skirmishing after game ended but before the handshake line, which resulted in the ref announcing that he is ejected from the NEXT game. This happened at the scorers table which is why parents are not aware of it. But from the parent sideline I could hear this player running his mouth the whole game. For Yorktown's sake, I hope that VEL upholds the ref's decision, so they can have reasonably clean game without one kid trash talking and taking cheap shots all over the field.

So gonna call a big BS! on this one.

I peeked in on the Yorktown/ Independence game to see if the kid was playing. I am 99.9% sure the kid was playing today (can anyone 100% confirm?),
sooooo with the VEL email that went out midweek saying ejections would be enforced I gotta think this was all just BS.

the trash label is not referring to their 1-2 in a fall league. It’s their dirty style of play. Who slashes somebody in the back after a game is over? And it’s not just one incident, it’s how this kid and team always plays. Total trash.

However, my opinion is that it is “trashy” for someone to disparage a league (VEL), EB, the refs, 25+ other kids, a school, parents etc. on an anonymous message board, when I have seen with my own eyes that this team is no worse then their opponent yesterday. In my opinion Yorktown had more illegal hits, more trash talk and trying to start a fight after the game.

I am not the poster calling the kid trash, and nobody is disparaging VEL, EB, or the refs, but you gotta admit this one player has a well earned reputation for dirty play. do you think that his style of play is okay? Be honest and for once, don’t deflect by complaining about someone else.

Next, I disagree about your statements. There have been comments on this board saying that "if VEL does not suspend him" etc. Well EB was very clear in his email this past week that any suspensions will be upheld. The kid was NOT suspended, therefore the PPs in my book lied about the situation. This casts doubt and disparagement about VEL, EB , Refs etc. That is the way I see it and I do not appreciate it at all.

Further, comments have been toward one player and then expanded to include the whole team and then the parents. Other kids and parents are not responsible for one kids actions. No more then you are responsible for your siblings, coworkers, friends actions. To lump people together like that is a sign of a feeble mind.

More so, I saw part/ most of the Independence game this week. Yorktown WAS to dirtier team all around- hits, mouth and trying to pick a fight at then end of the game. It is a fact and I saw this with my own eyes.

In fact, when I saw the post game incident on video I was one of the first ones here to say that he should be suspended and of the opinion that it should have been for the rest of the season. I was hoping it would be several games (3-5) at the minimum.

My question is.... how does his father (who is the head coach at Indy) allow the kid to act and play like that... First how do you allow it as a parent, second how do you allow it as a professional coach?

professional coach? I would not call ANY HS coach a professional coach! Its the peter principal in action.

Came to see if anybody was talking X’s and O’s after not checking for a couple weeks to only find out everyone is talking about the same thing. Get over it, it’s lacrosse and these kids are still maturing. Can’t say the same for some of you in this forum.
