NP. WOW. Way to go really really low, loser. |
It can be a frustrating process. DS had confirmation that all 3 of his transcripts (2 HS, 1 community college) had been sent on time to the right school. The university communicated to everyone that they were way behind updating the portal so don't worry if it looks incomplete. They are working on it but it will take weeks. Then, he got a scary email that they hadn't received one of the transcripts and he was in danger of being rescinded. So he sent the confirmation and ordered another transcript as well. They got the second one (who knows what happened to the first) so it turned out okay but definitely stressful. |
So I'm guessing this is what happened...
OP's DD selected the wrong campus from the dropdown menu. Probably saw UNC and did not double check if it was Chapel Hill or Wilmington. Understandable, they're probably next to each other. High school counselors will not bother to look back at past document sends to Chapel Hill and infer that there was a mistake. Why? Because students change their minds all the time where their final school selection is. Especially in this year's cycle where so many kids got off waitlists resulting in acceptances all throughout the summer. And those previous documents sent (initial and mid year transcripts) were sent to ALL schools in the common app. How the hell is the counselor supposed to know what the final decision was? OP, I'm not quite sure why you are focusing on getting your pound of flesh from the high school when it is more likely that your daughter made the mistake. |
What happened is OP made this up and then sock puppetted the thread to increase the post/page count. |
why would anyone do that? |
You’d have to ask OP. |
