Bad stuff was on other boys computer. That boy was on a bad website during school hours and also at his own home at 12 midnight On school computer. That boy has the first first name as my son. Some teacher spotted him on that website at school and took screenshots And provided to the counselor.

And then the counselor pulled my son together with another stuffer and questioned him. Based on what I heard from my son, that was not a good experience for him. He cries so bad when telling him about it, and before he was afraid to tell me because he thought that school thought that he was a bad guy. And he was afraid to tell me because he was afraid to lose his privilege.

Then in the evening, when my son was at home doing his history homework, the school calls me and start accusing on the phone that my son was on the bad website from my home at 12 midnight. I demand More information because I know my son would never do anything like that on his own, But out of curiosity, He may explore sites. The school tells me to come and bring the laptop and the child. The school shows some pictures on another laptop, and my child denies that that’s his activity, because it was another boy with the same first name. My child gets emotional.
The school takes away the laptop stating they need to investigate. On the way to the car, my car is very confused and keeps asking. Why is he in trouble? Why did they take away his laptop while he wanted to finish up his history assignment… Keeps crying he keeps crying from unfairness he felt I guess. My explanations That makes up happen in life helped a bit.

This doesn't make any sense. How would the school know that the kid was on the website at midnight when all they have are screenshots the teacher got in school? And why would your son be afraid to tell you that the school thought he was up to no good, but that it was a different kid with the same name, and he's innocent?

The school tracks all stuff done on their computers at all times. I don't understand why you don't understand this. It's their property.

Good summary.

But note, most of the times I was dictating and not ever proofreading. — I did not realize posts are evaluated for coherence and style… LOL

This was my venting space…

I guess, I should learn to post better and neater.

Sorry, guys. I will come back when I have good updates and the time to sit down and narrate like a pro.

My daughter was accused of plagiarism. She didn’t think she could write at that level of quality. We told the teacher we were graduates of some of the best schools in the country and could not write as well as our daughter. She didn’t believe us, but word came of her Governors school admittance and very high psat score (later 800 on verbal section of the SAT) and the issue faded away. . The teacher attended a mediocre college - not always a bad thing - but in this case she simply was not exposed to competitive people or high level work. A no win situation because I wanted my kids to earn their grades with no hovering parents.

Impressive DD.

Are you saying, don’t sweat it, and just let it go? But I still politely refuse and will keep trying to make my points heard.

No you may have to sweat it. Pick your spots and don't overreact. Not easy, but there is a bureaucracy

Please don’t. You sound unhinged and obviously your son has problems. Absolutely no one is buying your sob story.

You sound like a school bully turned online bully.

OP, is this your response? You’ve gone off on over a dozen pages on the incompetence of the school, how you’re gonna call a media news outlet, how you’re gonna write a book.… Because your kid didn’t do any work for a quarter.

You’re the bully.

Did you not read with proper comprehension?
Did you read the part about karma, or that there is documentation of uncooperation or promises made but not kept with timelines, or that there are others here wrongly accused in the past?

I know things can be done better. Start with schoology streamlining; ensure the calendar of deadlines is user friendly; don’t trick SN parents into ‘paper assignments are good for your kids’; if you promise something several times, make sure it’s actually done; and get your facts straight if your chosen action is target the kid whose mom made big noise after being fed up. Let me stop here so as to not to add to ‘dozens pages.’

OP, for your sake, please don’t continue posting. You are not doing yourself any good.
