Stop knocking on peoples' doors

I'm not talking about legalities here. I am simply asking churches who send people out to canvas neighborhoods to simply DON'T. But if you must do it, consider not knocking and ringing the doorbell repeatedly. It is rude and everyone should understand THAT!

Well they don’t agree.

And neither do I. I love religious weirdos. The weirder the better. That’s what makes America America.

No, you're not asking anything of any church - that might actually solve your problem. Instead, you're ranting on an anonymous forum and lashing out at random people on the internet because some religious people allegedly knocked on your door. You've got fun times ahead of you on October 31, OP! I hope every d@#% kid rings your doorbell 50 times.

I love kids and Halloween. We’re having the neighborhood party and everyone is invited but you and your crazy church friends!

It’s not about weirdos. It’s about being rude. Where are those holy manners? This forum is really sad and mean…and ironic.

It’s not rude to knock on your door, it’s normal. Because that’s the social convention in America. Maybe you’d be happier somewhere else.

You're getting straw-man-ed. This is what they do. They'll just keep repeating that you are saying it is illegal even when you deny that in bold and all caps. They'll do it until you get tired and leave the thread. They never get tired.

No, she’s ignoring the facts. They have every right, says the Supreme Court.

I just said not talking about the law. You are so emotional that you can’t even read a few sentences without popping off. I don’t like people ringing my doorbell over and over while knocking at the same time. It’s not an effective way to spread your gospel. Self-control, manners.

Your personal belief this is rude does not make it an objective truth. If you’re so sensitive, the onus is on your to install a gate. And uninstall your doorbell.

It's not "legalities" sweetie, it's just common sense. If you really want to deter solicitors and people lingering at your doorstep, you should also rethink the glass front door.

Come knock. But I don’t have a doorbell. Sleeping baby and all, I had the intelligence to uninstall it.

Then we will still knock repeatedly! You are so intelligent and spiritual!

People knock repeatedly on my door all the time, both for religious and commercial reasons. Or even just because they get lost in my poorly signed neighborhood. It’s not a big deal. Why would it be?

Try providing a hint. As people have already told you, signs saying you don’t want to be bothered help.

I will send my heathen kids over. They won't leave fliers, but they will egg your ugly new build.
