Random things that annoy me

People who give their underwear wearing child a pull-up to crap in for a year and then complain they need professional help to get the 4 year old to crap in the toilet.

Trash in the recycling. How hard is it, people?

Tourists that move like molasses and block the escalators/entrances to the metro then take FOREVER to put their damn card through making me miss my train. And those same tourists always have a million fat kids with them.

I hate oversized kids in strollers too. So annoying.

The Greenpeace people who try to stop me on my way to the Metro at Farragut North. Anyone who knocks on my door at home asking for money for some cause.

The use of "lol" especially when it is texted or emailed over something that clearly should not cause one to LAUGH OUT LOUD. Ugh. I hate it.

people who take forever to wash their hands/do their makeup/talk to their friend in the public bathroom while i am trying to take a crap. let me be loud and nasty in peace.

people who brush their teeth in the bathroom at work. UGH.

moms who are SO NOT JUDGING you for feeding your child formula, even though you should've tried harder before feeding your child that rat poison.

Really? Why don't you deal with my 3 year old during a melt down in DC after a day of sight seeing. Little people need to rest sometimes and while I make my child walk for the most part I'd rather push him around for an hour so he can rest than inflict his rage and need for rest on the other people around us enjoying their day. WHY SO JUDGMENTAL?

I don't care if your big kid is riding in a stroller. Just please make sure it doesn't take up the whole damn sidewalk/restaurant/metro train car/etc. and then act oblivious when people try to get past you.

Act oblivious = D.C. area.

God no, I seriously always take up as little space as possible. Strollers annoy me as well so I am very conscious not to be obnoxcious about it.

Irregardless instead of irrespective. Me or myself. The list goes on.

"Irregardless' is not a word. This is an incredibly common mistake and one of the most annoying for me.
It's just 'regardless'.

In the recent movie Shutter Island, Leonardo DiCaprio's character constantly says: "can I ax you a question?" At first I thought it was just his very lame and distracting attempt at a Boston accent. But all through the stupid movie he is saying "I axed her" "you ax her a question". It would be funny to me except that I paid to see the freaking thing and he is

so annoying.

But sometimes he can be hawt...kitchen counter scene in Revolutionary Road comes to mind...

I'm well aware that "irregardless" is not a word and that is why I find it so annoying. However, "irrespective" is a word and is the proper word to use.

People who use the *word* "refudiate" and then compare themselves to Shakespeare.

A 3 year old isn't too old for a stroller. 5. 5 is too old.
