The international (meaning, foreign National) students attending US boarding schools generally come from extremely wealthy families. A kid attending a state school in Slough, England isn’t dominating elite US university admissions.
How do you explain the fact that a Nigerian American (from Illinois) is attending Princeton in the fall? Princeton is probably the most elite college destination among Prep students this year.
The other Princeton commit is a white male from Maryland. So I’m not convinced that wealthy foreign students are dominating elite college admissions this year.
The Nigerian American from Illinois is committed to Princeton to play football.
The white male from Potomac is committed to Princeton to play lacrosse.

Smart and athletic—that explains it.
Let’s be honest, Prep has many athletic recruits who would never be admitted to Princeton. Princeton also requires top grades. Alabama, Auburn, etc just require you to be able to throw and catch the ball.
