Is it theater (public) or secret and thereby outrageous? Can’t be both. |
Available means nothing if not used. Same thing with a co2 monitor if mcps or the monitoring parent does not pay for repairs. |
One kid masking is not going to help. Tests are $20 each. Not everyone is in es. Our school has 7 rotating classes plus home room and lunch, crowded halls and 30-35 kids in a classroom. |
The libraries have FREE TESTS. Pick up sone books while you’re at it, would do you good. One way masking is effective if you get a quality, well fitted mask and actually wear it the entire time. Half the kids were wearing crummy cloth masks anyway, you pretty much have the same serious families wearing the good masks as before. But sure, keep your kid in virtual if this is too hard and you want zero risk. |
Yes I am. |
Libraries only give out a few free tests and you have to go indoors to get them. Not all of us go indoors. |
Then, this is a non-issue and no need for co2 monitors. |
|
You can hold a sign up at their window and see if they'll toss a few outside. Race back to the safety of your car as they contemplate your request. |
Well if you don’t venture indoors then you won’t be sending your kids to school either then- problem solved!
You can also see about ordering tests through your insurance (we did) but again if you’re not going anywhere I guess you don’t need them. |
My doctor told me if you wear a KN95 over an N95 it boosts your protection to 98%. Should be sufficient for a grab-and-go, at our library they are just sitting on a table. Maybe toss on a face shield too for good measure. |
It’s really not. You just drank the koolaid. |
You’re right. There is no need for co2 monitors. |
Not worth the risk. |
Our insurance lets you pick up at their facility but not order them. |
