Trudeau has not said in any manner that the people who are peacefully protesting cannot do so, in fact he said that he would continue to protect their right to do so. What he is denouncing is the actions of the group that has attached to the peaceful protestors (or rather, the group that started this under the guise of a peaceful protest).

Staging a protest does not mean you always get what you want. You also don’t get what you want then you are threatening the safety of the very government officials you are hoping to hear you out.

Once Canadian province has now lifted all Covid restrictions. The truck drivers have raised enough in their go fund me to stay put for YEARS.

That's not true. Canada has been INSANELY locked down compared to even extreme parts of the US (like DC). That's why there is such widespread support for the truckers.
