LOL. Sure, it was "collude-y."
Which part, pp???

I guarantee you that any conversations Hillary or Kerry had with Russia were much more "collide-y."

Why do Trump supporters think this is ok?

So, he should have encouraged them to retaliate? Do you hear yourself?

He didn't have to talk to Kislyak at all. He could have waited until after the inauguration.

He knew that. That's why he lied.

Oh, please. This s pretty standard. You think Obama's people didn't talk to foreign diplomats during the transition?????

In detail? In seemingly unauthorized detail?

No, I don't think they did.

Speaking to Kislyak was fine (although not clear that he was the right contact?), including wishing him a merry Christmas and happy new year. Beyond that was problematic.

Hence the lying about it.

And, the FBI/Obama administration believed Flynn to be a Russian operative.

How absurd is this?

Or, maybe, just maybe, they wanted a way to monitor the Trump administration.....

Flynn sure sounds dumb enough to be a Russian fanboy. Those transcripts are embarrassing he's so obsequious to Kishlyak. You want that complete suck up as your National Security Advisor?

You are an idiot. And, that is being kind. It's called diplomacy. And, encouraging Russia not to escalate. I guess you think that is a bad thing.

It's fine that the President-Elect's team reached out to other nations. But anything other that "Hi, How are you?" is unethical. It isn't fine that Flynn advised Russian diplomats how to respond to Obama's sanctions.

He shouldn't have encouraged or discouraged. That would be the ethical thing to do.

Flynn had no business to encourage or discourage Russia either way. But IF I adopt your unethical position and assume that this conversation was appropriate, then the real question is why didn't Flynn encourage them not to muck with our elections??????? That would de-escalate tensions with Russia much, much better than anything Flynn suggested. Do you disagree?

This. The transcript is problematic because Flynn is 100% unconcerned about Russian interference in the U.S. election. Instead he seems more interested in getting on Russia's good side (right after Russia just f'ed us!!!!!) in exchange for nothing of value for the U.S.

Russia had just attacked our country and Flynn is literally BEGGING Russia to not retaliate for the sanctions. It's pitiful.

Maybe because there is STILL no hard evidence that they did anything other than buy FB ads. Even the guy in charge of the DNC server from Crowdstrike, Shawn Henry, testified that he was not certain Russia downloaded emails. Interesting what is revealed in sworn testimony.

The Senate found that Russia or interfered in the election, attacked our country.
