Differences: tone, smirk, attitude, indignation (faux or real?) |
Judge making Depp a priority makes sense though-he was his boss and paid the bills. It almost seems like Depp and Heard didn't have a real marital relationship so Judge not considering her an equal also makes sense. I got the impression they were more like high schoolers dating than husband and wife. She kept going off with friends and would stay at a penthouse where Depp didn't live full time. In the recording she also admits to taking multiple drugs ( I think xanax, adderall, ecstasy, hallucinogens plus her regular rx mental health pills) and going back and forth on if she'll leave Australia. She becomes manic to the point the doctor tells the nurse to give her 50 mg of Seroquel which is an anti-psychotic medication to quiet her down. |
He is also talking to Depp's sister Christi on the phone when he says that Depp and his hand are the immediate priority, isn't he? What else would he tell her? That he is going to prioritize Heard? |
Yes. And to me it is obvious that the person spurting blood is always the priority. Not the one wailing, “I didn’t mean to hurt him!” and “do you think he still loves me?”. |
Okay, but his behavior before this had been to yell at her, rip off her robe, write on the walls with his injured finger in blood and paint, and then completely pass out somewhere from the drugs and alcohol. You're faulting Heard for an emotional reaction but you're rather minimizing Depp's own completely crazy behavior and discounting the possibility that her seemingly overly emotional reaction is a response to real trauma. When you listen to the recording, you will hear even pro-Depp Judge admitting that it appears that Depp caused all the damage to the house and the mayhem that occurred in it (though he and the other guy agree on principle that the finger is Heard's fault -- in a way that sounds like creepily like misogyny imho). The way Judge talks about Heard does not show real concern for her mental state or any trauma Depp may have caused her, but is singlemindedly focused on Depp and on getting Heard away from him exclusively out of considerations of Depp's well-being. That's the onesidedness I'm talking about above, and I think that also relates to Heard's original OpEd as well. Judge was part of the machine that took care of Depp and marginalized Heard. Everyone in that house was there for Depp and no one was there for Heard. |
You’re presuming all that happened to Heard. Are you just going by this recording alone? There are several more with her sneering at him, and telling him to f*ck his friend who is trying to help him leave (which is so juvenile), making fun of him and all sorts of things which make it pretty clear she wasn’t afraid of him. |
| Johnny Depp is ugly. |
Funny she says Jerry Judge is her witness of a bloody nose, the one person that is deceased so can't confirm. If you really listen to everything, she is full of lies and has staged much of this. |

“The judge in the Johnny Depp libel action concluded that “the great majority of alleged assaults” on Amber Heard by the Pirates of the Caribbean star had been “proved to the civil standard”.
Of the 14 alleged assaults heard in open court – all of which have been denied by Depp – he found that 12 of them were proved on the balance of probability.” Guilty from previous trial. Why is this even in the courts? |
Because the Judge did not dismiss it. |
You are referencing the UK trial which, like this one, is a civil trial. He lost his civil trial against Heard in the UK. No one was found guilty of anything. Also, the reason Depp's current lawsuit can proceed here is that it's a different country, different case, different causes of action, different standards of proof. |
The trial in the UK wasn't against Heard. It was against The Sun for publishing an article referring to him as a "wife beater." |
DP. Much easier to win defamation claims in the UK. The fact that he lost there does not bode well for him. |
+1. Everything about the UK case should have been easier for him to win. Clearer statement, much friendlier legal system, and he lost. |
She was never anything special. She’s a basic blonde. It’s so funny when these “hot” women age a bit and then suddenly everyone is shocked at how ordinary they are, as if they weren’t always ordinary. See also: Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears and Kate Upton. Plenty of famous women are considered beautiful into middle age. Those women were actually beautiful when they were young, as opposed to just young. |
