Just had a large grocery delivery and I gave him $12 (about 10% of the order). Is this too little?
Is the driver the one who does all the "shopping" as well? Should I just give a driver $10 or $20 each time, regardless of the size of the order? What do you all do? |
$5 for an average order. The driver doesn't do the shopping. |

$5 and I hate it. |
Oh good. Now I don't feel so bad. |
$0. they have never been on time at my house. |
zero! |
I do unattended delivery and I haven't tipped anything. Should I? How? |
I thought Peapod discouraged tipping, and, since I'm not usually there, I never tip. |
I tip $ 10 dollars and my orders are about $80 . With the price of gas and the conveinence , it is worth it |
I give 15% of the order , these guys are family working people and they do work harder than a waiter or waitress. So if you tip a resturant worker 15% , I feel thats fair |
JJm, I tip the barber $5 for a $12 haircut, I give 15 to 20% tip to peapod delivery drivers, after all they only get $7.50 per hour pay, I like good service and they always are very nice to us. |
