| I guess it’s time to move on to Turkey. They couldn’t succeed with Iran |
At this point the majority of Americans believe the Iranians vs the US or Israel. So you do not have any independent source for how many ships got through the blockade or how many ship the blockade actually stopped, disabled or sunk? |
Yep. Wonder if NATO will come to Turkey’s aid? We all know the US will attack when Israel gives the order. I hear the US military and US intelligence agencies believe they will be able to use NATO bases in the operation. They are heavily counting on the use of Incirlik Air Base. |
Are you really that dumb? The source is Hegseth and his lackeys. That is how it works but does not mean it is true. Other sources are saying the blockade is full of wholes. They are reporting the US navy does not have enough air assets to patrolled the area. It is a simple numbers game- not enough ships, boats and air assets. You can believe math and facts or the Christian white nationalists crusaders. So sorry. Looks like your faith in this administration is misplaced. You should’ve figured this out after all the other times they have lied. |
Here's what the NYT wrote: The U.S. Navy has turned back 27 ships trying to enter or exit Iranian ports since an American blockade outside the contested Strait of Hormuz began about a week ago, the military’s Central Command said on Monday. A U.S. military official also said on Monday that a team of Marines was searching and scanning a large number of containers aboard the Touska, an Iranian cargo ship that the Navy disabled and seized in the Gulf of Oman on Sunday after it tried to evade the blockade. And you believe "a U.S. military official"???? You believe "the military's Central Command"???? The Trump administration lies about everything. The NYT has not confirmed any of this. They are repeating the lies spewed out by Hegseth's liars. The military has no credibility since Hegseth got rid of the press covering the Pentagon. |
| NYT is complicit as far as I am concerned |

Europe would definitely not support that. Of course the destruction of NATO would help Putin as much as it would help Netanyahu/Israel. Trump is the only president crazy enough to dismantle NATO and invade Turkey. However, he apparently has investments in Turkey that put him at odds with Benjamin Netanyahu. It appears Israel’s taking an interest in aiding and abetting Greece and Cyprus to antagonize/fight Turkey but everyday Greeks are not buying it and will not desire war |
Israel and the US will lobby to get Turkey kicked out of Nato, leaving the nation perfectly open to attack once Iran situation is wrapped up. |
Agreed. Both things can be true. No one is saying there’s no blockade or they aren’t catching some ships. That doesn’t mean they are catching all ships. And the fact that this many are even trying indicates they think there’s a decent chance of getting through. |
| At least 34 tankers linked to Iran, including vessels carrying crude oil, have successfully bypassed the U.S. blockade, per Financial Times |
You have to wonder if the military is making a half-hearted attempt at the blockade. Maybe it's not just a coverage issue, and they just don't want to over-index on piracy. |
I understand the pentagon has denied this, but I find it hard to believe. Since the US blockade took effect on 13 April, as many as 26 vessels have continued moving in and out of Iranian ports and have exported Iranian-origin cargo, maritime data shows. Lloyd’s List said 11 tankers laden with Iranian cargo have left the Gulf of Oman or the Middle East Gulf since 13 April. Since the blockade began, the US has directed 27 vessels to turn around or return to an Iranian port, according to a social media post published by Centcom yesterday. I have grown to doubt the pentagon and social media posts posted by USA sources aligned with the Trump administration, fueled by his lies and spin-doctor techniques to declare the sky is red when it is clearly blue. Maritime data is nearly indisputable, you can watch maritime traffic in real time in your own home. So as far as I’m concerned, it has not been retracted and therefore has not been confirmed as fake news by a reliable source. |
