The organization’s president (whose resume appears to be embellished or misrepresented) and the Technical Director are engaging in conduct that effectively grifts opportunities and resources away from current teams.

In March 2026, they are holding exclusive training sessions for teams being assembled for the Fall 2026 season, despite the fact that several existing teams have not yet begun their Spring league schedules.

Grift away KS grift away…

Loser parent who thinks just because their kid plays entire game means they are good and improving. It’s too late when you realize you spent thousands for rec level club soccer and dropped your money in the sewer.

Loser parent who thinks every parent in club soccer cares about development or their kid improving. For most of us it's a paid fun kids activity and we can easily afford it. We like being able to eat and drink at practices/games and not using port-a-potty's. Yes, we are happy with the club. And guess what there are far more parents like us than you. We do not care about soccer development, or how much money the coaches or club is making. We care if our kid is having fun, getting some exercise, making friends. My kid is not going pro and neither is yours.

Not a Rev parent but I enjoyed my time visited last fall and I found the parents extremely realistic about their kids level. I decided to peak into this thread and I think this is the biggest flex that folks are ignoring. If they can drop $5k easily on rec-level travel soccer aren't they actually winning the life game? (as long as their spouse is not boning the coach)

100%. If it is true that the president has a made up biography. That settles some of the back and forth about Revolution.

Another dismal showcase result. All other GA coaches removed. They were his cronies. Now there’s no excuse for the extremely poor showing by GA teams at Jeff Cup.

Lower brackets, lost games, failure of new adds performing. Old guard players who can’t play. Disaster strikes again. Hold the joker accountable. Get rid of him!

I had never heard of it for a few years but the saw they play soccer in a church parking lot so maybe it is a feeder club, I assume to Loudoun. The parents also all seem to have chili peppers in their anus the way they chirp on and on so that tracks.

Church parking lot that happens to have 4 turf fields next to it. Nice try!

Tell me you haven't been there without telling me!

It's the players not the coach. You can only do so much with the players. REV stated as a club with no affiliation and extremely sub par players. Just because a few FCV etc playes join doesn't mean the quality as a whole automatically upgrades. Those added played have been training outside of club soccer for years. What has your kid done besides complain?

What is wrong with additional training? If you are losing games over and over... what would you recommend? The players need more.

Sorry but you don't know him too well. He has never put an emphasis on winning games. Even at Champions Cup and GA Playoffs. You can credit BP with those wins when at FCV. C will actually sabotage teams before the game even begins and often play the bench just as much as starters among other decisions that hurt chances at winning games. You also don't bring the backup GK a year younger to play at these events if you want to win. I would wager if CC approached games like a few others in the area, you would see better results.

Should he be fired? No. The overwhelming majority of players love him and enjoy trainings. That is where players most time is spent and players do in fact develop. I'll take losing important games over a coach who is abusive any day. Been there, done that.

Some people should also remember this is not VDA where talent flocks to. Or even any ECNL Club in the DMV for that matter. The best players aren't itching to move to VRSC, NVA or SYC. Having the personnel does affect a record and success.

The biggest issue plaguing VRSC at older age groups is lack of college recruitment. This goes for any GA Club in our area. NVA will see the same thing starting next year. The 08s and 09s benefit from its time in the ECNL.

Who said anything about winning? Dismal performance describes multiple players who have been coached by this style and have no improvement. If he’s not interested in winning (as you describe) and does not develop, what’s the purpose?

There maybe 5 original fcv players in this group. All of the others went somewhere else for a different experience or quit soccer altogether.

VRSC is chasing this guy down a rabbit hole.

The biggest issue is the players are not good. Not good players don’t get recruited….except by this coach…from other clubs.

Wrong. If two teams are equal and one plays the bench twice as much, which team will likely win? Or, if two teams are equal except at GK, which team is likely to win?

Now combine both sceneries…

Stop gaslighting. Commonsense will win every time.

Ummm, players are recruited. 3 are committed to D1 and a 4th one coming. One D3 commit did not want to play D1 but had offers. Nobody ever said VRSC was VDA. Like ever. And don’t deny that NVA and CISC got most of its recruits from ECNL exposure last year.

Next year, VRSC, NVA, SYC, and CISC will all be hurting for recruits. It’s not just a VRSC problem. It’s a GA problem. Let’s be real.

What? Why? I can guarantee you the VDA kids are getting added training

There is nothing these clubs are doing, or not doing, that changes their recruiting fortunes. It’s all about the talent you recruit to your teams.

Let’s do a thought experiment: take all of VDA’s players and move them to one of these other clubs next season. All of sudden they have a whole lot of D1 recruits. Magic!

All these clubs provide more than enough exposure and opportunity for college recruiting. But you need to bring the talent to your club first and that’s what VDA does. It’s the players, stupid.
