Certain people want to control the flow of information, and don't like that Elon is not 100% on board with their censorship. He bought the platform after Babylon Bee was suspended.

You are using a jumbled mess of Orwellian doublespeak designed to stoke fear. You could reverse your statement with Elon as the person who wants to control the flow of information and it would be an objectively accurate statement. In the end it comes down to which side you want to be on.

Elon does not control what happens on Facebook, Instagram, etc. Meanwhile, people are talking about having Google and Apple drop twitter from their app stores if Elon doesn't go along with the desired moderation policies.

Some people, unlike you, might not care to have racists, conspiracy theorists and Nazis be given a highly public platform.

How does it help apple or Google to be associated with apps polluted with racist, seditious, Nazi garbage? It is probably better for their brand if they drop it.

The guy is exactly like Trump - he lies about big things and small details. I get psychopath vibes from Elon.

Now that Elon Musk has declared himself for DeSantis, the advertisers will come back. They were worried about being anchored to a Trump anchor.

No the advertisers don’t care a bit about who Elon is for.

Now I’m starting to see articles about “why I left twitter..” Guess what? I don’t care. Please stop claiming to be a journalist if this is your heavy hitting news piece. Modern society’s obsession with navel gazing is killing me.

Their customers care so they care.

Blue Sky. It’s been in beta testing for a while.

I’m not sure why everyone wants to pretend like Twitter was just a navel gazing nothingness website. I found so much of worth there during the Trump years: journalists drawing connections that didn’t make it to print, information that the billionaires didn’t want out there, news of all kinds, hilarity at points. And public announcements, too. It wasn’t just people tweeting pictures of their avocado toast.

Of course you do. But you loved him when he was taking massive subsidies from the tax payer, toting the green energy and climate agenda and building battery powered cars. How dare he not follow the left 100 percent off a cliff. How dare he work against the borg's censorship.

Any proof Musk is a rational being is inducement to come back. And DeSantis, despite being a conservative, is not a loose cannon. Trump is a loose cannon. Big difference from a business point of view. The advertisers don't care which political side you're on, they care whether you're going to do something crazy that's bad for business, like incite an insurrection.

Anyway, from what's happened, it looks as if Twitter will survive the Elon Musk takeover. It's TikTok that might be the final nail in the coffin. Twitter needs more video content.
