One loss after 17 wins is still pretty darn good.
Congrats to SR!

Same story - different year for Saints. Play a cupcake schedule to try to get ranked and fold like a cheap tent when it really matters. Recruits or no recruits - same result.

SR will win the ISL

SR and SSSA have had very similar outcomes against the same teams this year. They are very evenly matched.

It’s tough however to beat a team twice in a row especially in such a short period and SSSA will probably be counting on that in the finals. Should be another good game.

SR is odds on favorite. Opposing teams need to punch them in the mouth like they do. Hit back hard and be aggressive.

Coaches always talk about the improvement between freshman and sophomore year is the greatest.

Are they getting developed in A? No.

The freshman and sophomores at Bullis and Holton are getting developed now playing hard competition.

Nice try NCS Dad/Mom.

Still have no idea what NCS is. Never heard of it.

Because you cannot afford it. Go away.

I’m sure you’re right, but how do you find out the price? Is it like a Skull & Crossbones thing, where someone secretly sends you an invitation with the address and tuition price?

No. You can find it on the internet. Just like you can see Battlefield is free. Don’t begrudge people who have more and spend it on their kids just like you should not begrudge public schools. You both sound like colossal douche bags.

You know you are all talking gibberish, right?

It was a close 1-2 goal game the whole way with lead changes, good players on both sides. Key stretch was SSSAS up 7-6 in second half with alot of momentum with a couple chances to go up two and didn’t convert. SR grabbed momentum and it was back and forth the rest of the game. SSSAS had ball with 2 min left and tie game and turned it over, SR scores a runner with 7 seconds left that hit left pipe to win it with SSSAS down a player on yellow. Officials had a rough day, largely because they weren’t aligned within the crew on how to call the physicality, so the inconsistencies persisted the full game.

Overall, SR played well enough to win it, and SSSAS poorly enough to lose it. SSSAS controlled draws but the story was unforced turnovers that SR maximized. SR very fortunate to win that game. We’ll see if both teams take care of business to get a rematch in the ISL finals. Visi and Potomac aren’t slouches, and can’t sleep on either. Prediction is either SR by 1 again or SSSAS wins going away by 3+.

How many illegal stick checks were requested during the last 10 seconds? Although stick checks are conducted before the game begins, sticks can become illegal over the course of the 48 minutes of play. More often, players will use their concealed illegal stick once the pre-game check has finished. You can never be too cautious when it comes to illegal stick checks, and requesting them is a good way to let generally compliant referees know that you REALLY want them to enforce the rules seriously at that moment.

This makes GC the top team in the DMV (Again) as they beat SR by 5 and SSSAS is too scared to play them. Congrats GC!!!

Looking at the Saints' 2026 schedule, it's less challenging than expected for a top-tier team (86.81 SCHED from Laxnumbers). By contrast, SR faced a significantly tougher 90.62 SCHED. It seems likely that the Saints intentionally chose this easier schedule with hopes of having an undefeated season and taking both the ISL and VA state titles. However, the issue is that they may not have been adequately tested this year. While winning both tournament banners remains possible, the risk feels higher now. Everyone involved is likely now to feel considerable pressure to meet expectations and not disappoint KJ further, especially as this could be her last season.

2/10 ragebait. I would believe you if it wasn’t visible from the entire dmv.

The big neon lighted building in Tysons Corner is NCS?!!!

That’s actually Berghain, and it’s also located in Berlin.

So whose team needed stick checks?

Predictions:
GC takes WCAC again
Stone Ridge takes ISL

Don't think either will have a super competitive game in playoffs either

Somebody told me that SR started 5 freshmen yesterday. Pretty amazing that a young team could beat a SSSAS team of all of those Seniors and college recruits and now about ready to win the ISL regular season.

SR and GC get the best players (Maryland players). Alexandria isn't producing anything quality.
