But how many goals were scored by former Washington Spirit players who now play for FCV? A lot!

Lol at this person. Metro is officially a dumpster fire. No wonder they’ve been so quiet on here. Preseason scrimmages are over and now teams are playing to actually win.

The U17 game was scoreless until the 80th minute.

So if we can't become competitive, we will keep losing great players even though we get great players in. We aren't keeping enough all together to succeed.

I know for a fact FCV isn't the only detractors that come here. BRYC is a frequent offender too. If players left, they are pretty rigorously warned off by coaches and parents too. Anywhere but MU. So I think we look foolish by always saying ok FCV coach. Ok FCV parent. Just saying

Yet it’s funny how the thread magically reappears after an FCV game weekend. They may have won the games, but what a bunch of loser parents.

The U17s held FCV until the 82nd minute. They had the best result from that angle alone. They seemed to fall off with subs, and they have some issues with injuries, but that's still a long time to hold the other side off. It's clear that team has improved. The U19s are no surprise. That is the last great stud team of FCV. We all know the U14s will struggle this year.

The U17 game was lopsided in FCVs favor long before the 80Th minute. Metro has A LOT of work to do.

Recruiting is extremely important to FCV. This platform, Twitter, FB, every win must be announced to keep the interest high.

Not so fast...

The U15s and up are pretty dominant.

The U14s are very good, but could use a player or two.

The U13s are very good as well. Time will tell with these kids.

MU - Terrible teams, but they do look better than they did last year.

It is true that FCV gets weaker the younger you look. The younger teams really do need players. That is why this daily PR campaign is so important. Keep it up!

It’s because parents know their sliding in mediocrity with the rest of the nova ecnl and da clubs.

You need to let all those parents know. FCV has to keep the train rolling. The younger DA teams are nowhere near the older girls. A great recruiting effort can change this. Your voice matters!

My greatest comfort is knowing that 99.9% of these girls will amount to nothing in soccer. They will get their partial scholarships or admission to college, just like the MU girls by the way, and slowly fade into the background over time.

Hope victory weekend was worth the $5k per year for years. The result is meaningless at the end of the day.

Lol. Doesn’t matter. You’re the actual loser.

LOL. Ok - whatever it takes to get yourself out of bed in the morning. If you find comfort in seeing these girls fading as you say, then most would agree that you are the loser.
