Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

At this point, I really want to see what the other people on the film say during the actual proceedings. Sony people, other producers, editors, the case, the intimacy coordinator who was hired before the movie even began and Baldoni says scripted the scenes. I feel like it’s hard to believe any particular PR team.

I wish Baldoni was given the chance to share this complaint before his peers took sides and ousted him. I think she flat out fibbed in most of these situations and that was bad move. I will still give her some benefit of doubt until he cases progress. In particular I am keen on to know what made the other women on set uncomfortable. My opinions on the PR agents in question haven't changed though. They are evil. I think Blake was willingly to let the situation pass and Justin should had as well.

Now- clearly we all understand how Trump got elected, right?

Sorry to inform you, mere commoners are still allowed to have an opinion. Vibes. Energy. Gut reaction. Warmth. Instinctive response. Visceral. Q Rating. Whatever it is, we assess all celebrities.

And the fact is millions if not tens of millions of Americans find Blake to be a duplicitous, boring, low talent, smug, conceited, phony, and egotistical mean girl who frankly, never deserved her level of fame in the first place.

Whether it was nepo baby, Harvey, or whatever other extracurriculars, her career has never made sense on the merits.

Well worth a read

The part of him having muscle dysphoria rings is something I picked up in some of his interviews. He reminds me of an creepy Yoga teacher I had.

By all means speak up. But just like if a POC sues someone over racism, it's possible that they might find it harder to find work again because of the supposed drama they bring. Acting may be the way actors make their living but it's hardly a "job". Nobody has to hire them.

What are you talking about? Care to back this up with facts?

It all seems self explanatory to me. Lively is speaking up, and studios might see her as someone who might be too hard to work with. Therefore, studios or directors might not want to work with her. It would be hard for her to prove discrimination. Choosing who they want to act in their movies is totally at the movie makers discretion. It's not as if she has the right to a movie role.

Speaking up? she appears to be making things up.

Its not like she has some amazing career. You don't have to like her but don't brush her off until we get more information. The public has already decided she's in the wrong

Blake and Ryan are so overexposed and insufferable. Why don’t they just raise their kids and live a quiet life with more money than they could ever spend? Everything they’re involved in is obnoxious. They don’t act like confident and cool A-listers, they act like hyper-calculating fame-obsessed money-grabbers.

Hilarious. Why can’t Americans write as well?

Blake and Ryan can be all of this and we can still acknowledge something inappropriate happened

There seems to be evidence that nothing inappropriate happened.

Yet…not one cast member or crew member is on the record about experiencing something specific, even though now have major cover with the BL lawsuit, NYT article, etc. Not one person would go on the record in the lawsuit (on either side) outside of the people who are actually suing or being sued. I am finding it very weird to have neither side have a single named corroborating witness named.

No. The fact he’s suing the NYT (literally a zero percent chance he wins this case) tells you he’s receiving horrendous legal advice. His complaint is an absolute prototype of whataboutism. My favorite bit is because she once invited him to run lines while she was pumping very early on in filming, it is impossible that he & others later entered her room uninvited while she was undressed or breastfeeding. Like, what? The new defense is because you were once invited over while someone was doing a quasi-private activity, there was an open door policy for you and others while someone was doing more private activities? That’s literally what his complaint suggests.

She has cast members on the record. We know two others lodged official complaints. Remember that Blake only just filed her lawsuit, she’s not at the evidence production stage. I bet there’s a ton more to come.
