Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

She has cast members on the record. We know two others lodged official complaints. Remember that Blake only just filed her lawsuit, she’s not at the evidence production stage. I bet there’s a ton more to come.

That's great. She can publish as many articles as she wants about these rumors but the case will be tried in court, nor the New York Times.

Smear her with video clips from her interviews where she came off as an ahole? That isn’t a smear, that’s showing people who she is.

This appears to be nothing more than two costars that really didn’t like one another. That I doesn’t provide a cause of action, unless one of them tries to invent sexual harassment claims.

I’m beginning to get a clearer picture of what is happening. There’s no question that Blake and Justin had a pretty decent relationship at one time. They followed each other on social media and they bantered as well. Shortly before filming started when Blake was pregnant Justin had posted something about his workout and she was like “impressive but try that when you’re eight months pregnant” or something along those lines. they were goofing around with each other.

Clearly on set, they must’ve had a good relationship at one time if she was inviting him to run lines while she was pumping and sending silly texts signing them x etc. Now that clearly is not an invitation to do more and I’m not at all saying that she did not have other unwelcome moments on set, but at one point, they clearly got along, and she felt comfortable with him.

It seems like what may have happened is that there were disagreements on set, and Ryan Reynolds got involved and I think that’s when things started to fall apart. It is so strange how involved he was in a movie he was never formally attached to, having the final editing cut, having a formal meeting with Sony and the production company in his apartment, where he screamed at Justin, which sounded totally off the rails BTW doing so much to promote the film as well as writing scenes.

I wonder if when he was jealous or felt threatened by Justin. He strikes me is very controlling. It just seems like people got too comfortable and professional lines were crossed and then Blake and Ryan took advantage of that when they wanted to get their way.

I don’t know if he will be successful in the suit but it absolutely seems that the New York Times article left out key context in their relationship and Blake’s side in this, not to mention, Ryan Reynolds harassing behavior of his own.

This. As for myself, always like Ryan, thought they were a cute couple with a great family life. Not sure I see her as an absolute innocent, seemed a bit calculating to me. Now I feel as though she accidentally showed her true self, and while there may be some validity to her claims, she’s hurt her future as an actress and is desperately trying to paint herself as a victim. Just too calculating and in the end has dragged her husband down with her.
