He doesn’t love Madison. He loves the idea of their family being together but is still in love with Sophie. Madison has moved on and made a happy family with Elijah.

I’d rather see him partnered with Cassidy than the singer. The fact that Madison was not with Kevin the night before the wedding (she was with her husband and kids) means it is really down to Cassidy vs. Sophie. I think the singer helps him write a poem/song for Sophie. He does seem really bad at expressing his feelings, and resorts to gimmicks like quoting favorite movies.

I’m hoping for a spinoff with Beth and the girls. There is so much more to explore: anything Beth, Deja’s pregnancy, Tess becoming a confident adult and social worker, and everything about Annie. Not that I want anything to happen to Randall but he seems uninterested in continuing his role.

As a Senator, his absences could be explained by his DC commitments but unfortunately I don't think this will happen.

Just wondering (again) why Tess’s and Annie’s characters were not developed? You’d think they could have independent flash forward scenes - showing them in college, what Annie becomes and why she chose it, more about Tess.

Once Deja arrived, Tess and Annie were basically forgotten about. Was that always the plan?

She didn’t ditch her 3 kids with Elijah overnight. Did not happen.
