Just remember that family members and friends who are grieving will be there. This isn't a reality show.

And yet you are here following each and every post closely…

How is one thing related to the other? You think someone’s gonna go and make a scene there? If it’s open to the public, it’s open to the public.

People tend to forget that "true crime" isn't just a podcast, internet discussion, etc.

For all you know this person could very well be a grieving family member or friend.

Anyone with criminal law experience in VA, 1/17 is the preliminary hearing, what is a typical timeline after that? Most plea deals are taken close to trial, when might the trial be set?

Why?

Aren’t you here following the case? Aren’t you going to read when the hearing is reported here or on the news? Same reason…

Can they still charge her for CB’s murder or would that be a total different case that they’d open after the hearing ?

I'm the friend, and I'm not a troll. I said my peace before it got deleted. I said I go back and forth on his innocence vs guilt. But it's clear no matter what some of you assume he's 100% guilty, obviously guilty, and even if he was convicted you'd think the jury was tarnished.

Were you also Christine's friend, or just his? Do you live in the neighborhood? Do your kids go to the same school?

Neither LE nor Commonwealth of VA has alleged any such thing.

Are there astroturfers trying to taint the local jury pool?

This is the first time I’ve seen this tone toward BB on this thread. Very interesting timing considering Juliana’s trial starts next week and he’s likely to be arrested soon.

This thread is overwhelmingly anti-BB with a lot of speculation against him. I understand that given the circumstances but if anyone can speculate why can't it go the other way?

It’s wild to me how biased some people here on this 100 page thread are.

Speculating that a guy who hasn’t been charged with a crime yet is innocent is “Jury Tainting”?

But somehow declaring his immediate guilt is totally fine?

Nancy Grace wants her job back.

I guess I’m “anti-BB” in that I think he had some part in this mess. I base my opinion on the evidence so far + the fact that most often, especially where there’s an affair partner, the husband is involved.

I don’t have some agenda against BB. I just hope justice is done for the victims. If people set forth a plausible sequence of events that doesn’t involve BB, I think posters will entertain it. But you can’t just make up facts (JR is a meanie face! He likes kink! He MUST’VE done it!) and expect people to take you seriously.

I don't think anyone is entertaining any theory that doesn't involve both JR and BB seeing as how they both ended up in the house that morning. The question is whether JR initiated the violence.

It is dangerous to decide that because crimes are usually committed by X type of person we can assume guilt.

I’m pretty sure there are people who think BB is innocent of violence and perhaps even being taken advantage of by the au pair. Some of these are the same people who feel compelled to correspond and pursue romantic relationships with convicted murderers. If it turns out that BB is found guilty and is convicted, we can take bets on how quickly he will select a girlfriend from his fans and even get married. Don’t underestimate how bad people’s instincts can be.

For those sure BB is guilty, can you explain how nobody has been charged with the stabbing/murder of CB? I don't see how BB or AU could have stabbed her and not been charged yet. You would think there would be defensive wounds, blood all over them that they couldn't have cleaned up in the time before LE arrived. That makes me think JR stabbed CB and LE is struggling with understanding how that was setup.

I don't follow it as closely as many but could those sure of BB's guilt explain who they think stabbed CB?

He did it. They are putting pressure on Ap to spill what really happened. The closer they get to trial the more pressure she will feel. The police chief has explicitly said there is more to come, more details will come out but they have to get it right because there is only once chance to convict.

What if BB stabbed CB while she was still in bed sleeping. He probably had no clothes on and so it would be easy to just take a quick shower and clean everything up. He may have worn a thick glove to protect himself from leaving fingerprints. Who knows… If he premeditated all of this, he certainly planned everything down to the smallest detail.

I love how this joker BB ate McDonalds for breakfast everyday apparently BUT then went to workout at Lifetime with his side AP.

Didn’t BB have a leg wound? You would think if he was innocent he would have been in the ambulance holding her hand on the way to the hospital. This whole thing is upsetting, you think you know a guy. If he was innocent wouldn’t he be yelling it from the rooftops, confiding in his and CBs family, at least show some sadness? Something is off.
My hope is that we start getting answers for both families of JR CB and the little girl.

There is a motion hearing scheduled for 1/16/24, they do seem to be getting their money's worth from her counsel, unless the story he has told is completely discredited by forensics.

The preliminary hearing on 1/7/24 will likely get a lot of media coverage. Is a trial date likely to be set at that point?

In charging her, VA said that BB was not in the house when JR was shot. So, hard to imagine CB was sleeping. Unless he arrived after she was killed...I'm still trying to think what evidence they may have that proves that - did a ring capture shots after BB had been captured leaving and before he was captured returning? If so, the entire tale her attorney told has NO basis in fact. VA appears to be claiming that at the time JR was killed, the only people in the house were AP, CB, JR, and tragically, the little girl.

That would be a separate case and LE has strongly suggested that the stabbing was done by someone other than AP, someone they planned to hold "accountable." He called JR a victim, so, only one adult left.
