Is there any evidence of him physically abusing her? I know there is evidence of her confessing to hitting him, and evidence of her verbal abuse of him, as well as mocking him when passed out with photos of him at his lowest, often staging the scene in embarrassing ways (ie: the ice cream).

Is there some reason why he needs to have physically abused her when there is ample evidence of emotional abuse?

There’s also ample evidence of her abusive behavior.

She’s not a victim.

At best they are both toxic, damaged people.

But I’m leaning towards her being on a mission to get married, get famous, then get out with millions. She was on a mission to come out on top. She couldn’t do that without taking him down.

She hasn’t tried to take him down. This is his lawsuit airing out the laundry

In it you can here Jerry Judge, BenKing, Dr. Kipper and a nurse and also a bit of amber and Johnny. It is ROUGH. In it, its clear that she hurt him, she seems to be crying she didn’t mean to hurt him and everyone is looking for the finger and its completely obvious she’s not hurt at all and they just want her to leave Australia. They have her on seroquil and she also has taken a lot of drugs…Adderall, Xanax, hallucinogens, Ecstasym etc. She is babbling about losing him and how she cant leave him and man. The whole thing is a hearsay-fest and I believe court has stipulated they won’t admit audio if there’s anyone other than Johnny and Amber speaking. Its too bad because this one makes it clear his version is waaay closer to the truth than hers.

It also makes it clear he smashed up a lot of stuff and was drinking everything in sight. Possibly also burned his own face with cigarette when passed out?

I listened to this but it is highly edited too. There should have been security cams in every room of the AUS house- guess that violates privacy rights. Was this not allowed in the UK trial too? Did Jerry Judge testify in that? I paid no attention to that trial. Did the private dr and the nurse testify about AH's condition at that time?

I listened to an hour long version of this that was mostly Jerry Judge talking. Jerry Judge (who is apparently dead now) used to be Depp's bodyguard. It was pretty clear that Judge worked for Depp, that Depp was his priority, not Heard (he even said a couple of times, Johnny is more important), Johnny certainly wasn't going to be working the next day, He also says that it appears that Johnny did most of the damage in the hotel room, that Johnny drank all the alcohol in the basement in like a day (and there was a LOT down there) and had taken 10 extacy (?) pills according to Heard, and that Heard did not smell at all of alcohol. Heard also came down at one point and said she found 2 empty bags of coke upstairs. You hear Judge talking to another man (I can't remember whether it was the therapist or a helper) speculating about how the finger cutting off happened and speculating together that it seemed like Heard had done it, two men talking about the damage women do, while at the same time Judge also went through the incredible amount of damage that Depp did to the house (Judge estimated it was at least $60K worth of damage but it was probably more with all the blood and paint everywhere -- Judge said the blood would not be removable from at least 2 of the couches).

The main thing about this recording to me is that it sounds to me like Judge hates Heard. His whole attitude towards her is sort of hateful, and that he will do whatever he needs to do to get her out of the house, and seems to have been primarily interested in protecting Depp and his job and his career, even though he talks to Heard as though she can trust him and he is also on her side.

To me, it's exactly what Heard was talking about in the ACLU article. Judge was there to make sure Depp reported to work and kept the movie machine going as quickly as possible and to protect Depp and his reputation and career, and he didn't care at all what happened to Heard. If I was Heard (not for a million dollars would I switch with her) listening to this tape later on, I'd feel so betrayed.

This isn’t the first lawsuit.

She clearly wanted leverage for a big payout when they divorced. She got it.

I think this was a plot.

AH joined the JD camp- it was his camp, his security, his drs and nurses, his island (!), so it is not exactly surprising to me that they were all about serving him. To the extent that she caused or even just seemed to cause trouble for JH, they would not be liking her. They get together and it is a drug fest and his finger is cut off.

I am still not convinced that she was 100% just out to get $$$, but she was an actress/diva who maybe wanted to run the show and he called her "kid"... (Sonny & Cher anyone?) The whole older man helps out youngster... but he also has his own family from before- his sister/manager, his daughter who wants to be a model/actress .... If AH had been the least needy person and a saint, her place in that household/enterprise would have been difficult and she is not a saint and here he is with his finger cut off and a huge mess. I almost wish it was just "chick wants $; older man wants arm candy," but I think that they had more complicated attractions than that because they became so antagonistic. I do not know if I think she was really trying to off him- psychologically or physically, or if she came along at a time when he was feeling old- mother dead, "children" becoming adolescents, wife figure gone and her youthfulness that attracted him was a big depressing affront to him too. We have to ask why he continued the relationship after the finger fight- he also had the option to leave, right? The professional shrinks have not said that they were acting out their childhood problems but if not, what were they doing?

You mean it’s exactly what “Heard” was talking about in the ACLU article.

She didn’t write that article. Extensive documentation was shown presenting the back-and-forth between ACLU’s writer and Amber’s lawyers, in an attempt to avoid violating Amber’s NDA as the ACLU writer produced “Amber’s” op-ed.

I don’t think we can discount the fact that ACLU named her as their ambassador for women’s rights, giving her a position and platform from which her professional career and public reputation could only benefit, and…ACLU also wrote her op-ed. She got something from them that has nothing to do with her alleged DV issues; she clearly benefitted professionally from her association with ACLU and the position they gave her. This casts a different light on the article itself, I think.

Not to mention that she perjured herself in the UK court, lying about something on a scale and in a context that would make normal people uneasy because it could be so easily proven, and the consequences of her lie could have serious implications.

She’s clearly a very sick woman. When I heard Jerry Judge speaking, I interpreted his tone when talking about her as justifiably irritated. Of course he doesn’t like her much. Did you expect him to discuss her with love and respect in his voice after hearing the audio of how she behaves? Let me get this straight: if he sounds as if he dislikes her, it means he is victimising her, and it couldn’t possible mean that she has a pattern of childish, mean behavior and lies, as evidenced in the clips/recordings? Is that right?

^^ What did she say that is perjury?

Perhaps this was already discussed - but how much weight has Heard gained? Her face has completely changed and she easily looks like she could be in her mid 40s. She was insanely hot just, like, five minutes ago.

Alcohol and drug bloat
She's in her mid to late 30s now
She's pale complexities
Lots of filters, bothox, cosmetic surgeries as a enhancements

The other lawsuit was HIM suing The Sun in the UK under a much friendlier legal system when they called him a "wife beater". He lost.

Getting a girlcrish on Camille... is so refreshing to see a coherent, competent person at this trial

The cross is going to be brutal. You have a reasonably competent attorney doing the cross. You have another attorney who clearly doesn’t know the rules of evidence, could not control her client on direct (it’s obvious they didn’t practice) and probably will not practice with her this week on how to stick with just a yes or no answer on direct and to be respectful to the examining attorney. I guarantee you she will be combative on the stand (which is a normal reaction when you are being attacked but can’t show it). I believe her story but damage will be done.

Since she’s not supposed to be discussing her testimony with her lawyers while on the stand, she better not be practicing for cross examination this week.

It was disappointing to learn how much work she had done on her face over the years, starting in her early 20's, I thought she was one of a few actresses with natural features, she seamed so different than everyone else.
Right now it looks like her face is a result of weight gain that causes bloating over her previous buccal cheek pad removal. And then there are other procedures that need to be redone: eyebrow lift, under eye fillers, upper lip enhancement, etc.
