There is, however, one pollster who has consistently outperformed the others during the Trump era. That is the Trafalgar Group.

If Walker wins, can we finally stop hearing about Georgia being purple? On the one hand, you have someone clearly suffering from CTE who is a pathological liar and dead beat dad, but only when his mistress won't agree to an abortion. On the other hand you have a pastor. I don't understand. Three big races in GA in 2020 went blue, by thin margins. If the Senate race is decided by a close margin, it's still fair to call GA purple.

That’s cherry picking. Trafalgar predicts that Republicans will win, and sometimes they are right. That doesn’t make them a good pollster. Trafalgar also had Loeffler up two over Warnock. And they thought Kemp was going to win in 2018 by 12 and he won by 1.5. They had McSally up 2 in Arizona and thought Trump was going to win Arizona by 2.5. They also thought Trump was going to win Nevada in 2016 and 2020.

They have a better record than most. 538 would not rate them highly otherwise.
