VHSL allows a maximum of 15 regular season games. (Used to be 14). LCPS Atheletics is budgeted to fund the associated costs to cover 15 games (re: Refs). FCPS only budgets for a certain amount of games, and schools that want to play more, up to 15 often do so at these Spring Break Tournaments. Also, some schools only schedule 13-14 games for different reasons, like small rosters strength of program and "liked skilled" opponents. |

Chantilly 11
Woodson 7 Game was tied 4-4 at halftime. Tilly was up 7-6 end of 3rd. Woodson ran out of gas and Tilly capitalized on two empty netters in the last min to seal the deal. Fun competitive game |
| Gang. Zero empty netters happened. Plus it was 11-6 not 7 sorry bud. GO CHARGERS. |
| I didn’t know Stone Bridge was better than Riverside! That’s exciting. |
| South River 8 WP 5. WP had the lead 4-3 in the 3rd but could close it out. |
But question is: why does FCPS not budget for more than 9-10 games for lacrosse (esp if other LCPS can do it). And FCPS doesn't do that for field hockey (for example) - full 16 game season there... |
The comment you’re responding to literally says up to 15 games. Who in FCPS is only playing ten? And why do you think that’s a FCPS thing and not a school specific constraint? |
| Robinson over Broadneck 6-5 |
I have it on good authority straight from the Robinson coaching staff that they actually lost 15-6 |
| Fake news. Robison won 6-5. Their goalie was huge tonight. |
Hey meta define bull shit |
| Robinson has the best defense in the state. Any team you can name will struggle against them. |
