Indy would be north of 500 in the WCAC. They wouldn’t have beaten PVI this year but they’d beat Dematha. SJC would be a good game. |
Indy was still the PVI b team. |
What's amazing about PVI is they're able to take all these guys from various locales and towns and manage to meld a team and cohesiveness, even thoigh they're all being brought together from really all over NoVA. How they manage to build that chemistry is inspiring. |
The majority of the team is Dulles South and almost all were Loudoun players. PVI Indy and Riverside plus Preps best player all from Loudoun |
There is no Loudoun High School. There are about 16-18 Loudoun high schools. |
Yes I heard he is committed to Chatham University Not true. I hear the kid may go to CNU. He is good, but not much if any better than several kids I have wit he’d play this season. I see a good player. I do not see a D-1 player compared to several other kids heading to top tier D-3. There is no shame in playing at that level, and I am not slamming the SB kid or anyone else. Players that are at the level are better players than 99.9% of the posters on this board. |
If you don’t understand how kids from different neighborhoods, schools areas and such can forms good team together- you have obviously never been associated with a club travel team of any note |

Just want to refer back to pre/early season when I posted that FFX county would not have a state champion. That the power center of lacrosse has shifted away from the area.
While there are many good programs in FFX it is no longer a given that the “best team” in the state wil always be from there. With the rise of Loudoun in the last 10 years, PWC, Richmond and SW VA, if VA beach ever got its act together, the sport is and would be better off as a whole. Congrats to Indy- back to back and undefeated- something very few other teams have done Congrats to Riverside another state championship, amazing Congrats to Glass, while I don’t know too much about them that have built a great program. |
What I don't understand is how this is done at one individual public high school? Why are they able to pull from such a wide area? |
It's sarcasm. Obviously. Over the top at that. Private school flex guy should've written "My private school X can recruit from 15-25 high schools and beat your 1 high school." Now Indy has certainly gotten the advantage of newish transfer and out of district rules in Loudoun, but nothing like a private and all the recruiting they do. |
YT will score, like they did this season, a lot. However, will they be able to close the deal in games that actually matter? |
Indy would probably lose to these times 8 times out of 10, simply because they can recruit. A team made up by the best players in 6A could easily dog walk prep, bullis, sta, and Gonzaga, and would have a good game with SJC or PVI. Plus, bullis literally lost to a public school this year, and almost lost to another one, so you can’t really act like these schools are the pinnacle of lacrosse while they are losing to students who don’t pay $50,000 dollars a year to play. |
How many of the "best" players in 6a are recruited to d1? PREP has more on one team your so called Best players in NOVA |
This may be the all time worst take on DCUM. Have fun at CNU or Mary Washington kid |
Equally dumb take, have fun on the bench, kid. Hey but at least you “played” at HPU! |
