Chantilly is 4-1:

-Won 14-9 over LB
-lost 18-13 to O’Connell
-Won 19-6 over hayfield
-won 13-12 over McLean
-won 21-7 over soco

High powered offense

Don’t know where you watch lacrosse but average offenses can’t average 17 points a game even against bad defenses
Or an average offense against bad defenses.

You can’t be serious. Running up 21 goals on weaker teams doesn’t prove anything other than your coach is low class. Tell me this - how many goals do you think your high powered offense would score on Robinson or Madison?

4 maybe 5 on a good day. Madison and Robinsons defenses are a completely different level of lacrosse compared to a lot of the other defenses in the area. The coaching on both of the teams plays a big factor

West Springfield beats Westfield 11-5. Similar to Yorktown score. Could WS be putting something together this year?

Nope

Not a Chantilly guy so I don’t know where the “your” comes from. I was just speaking to the fact from experience how difficult it is to actually score 20 goals in a high school lacrosse game that goes running time if one of the teams is up by more than 12

Possibly. They have a lot of good players. Last year was an aberration

I’m honestly asking because I do not know. Please someone explain why FCPS is different than LCPS with regard to scheduling? Why do Fairfax schools need to play in these weekend or spring break “tournaments” instead of just scheduling normal games like Loudoun schools. It doesn’t make sense to me.

I’m pretty sure there is a limit on the number of games Fairfax teams can play, but there is a workaround where they can play in “tournaments” to get more total games.

Need isn’t the right word choice.

*Some* FCPS teams *choose* to do tournaments.

Any Oakton Herndon score?

Herndon backed out of the spring break tournament so they didn't play. They screwed Oakton and Westfield out of games.

Looks like several other local schools had spring break games removed from the schedule. What happened?

Many kids had last minute "college visits" in Cancun this week, couldn't get enough players.
