NVA/Loudoun to MLS Next

Where do you think these players will go but GA? You can’t make every thing that happens be bad for GA and be taken seriously. Sun’s out today? Let me explain why this is bad for GA.

There used to be 7 "elite" teams in NOVA:
Arlington
FVU
NVA
VDA
STJ
SYC
Revolution

Now there are 8 (or 9?) "elite teams in NOVA:
Arlington
FVU
Mclean
NVA/Loudoun (1 or 2 GA teams?)
VDA
STJ
SYC
Revolution

Same pool of kids, more teams = lower quality across the board.
More "elite" teams = watered down competition.

Couldn’t agree more. Like you said it’s the same pool of talent. That talent used to be mostly on ECNL teams. Now some is spilling over to GA teams. That makes GA better than it was. Overall nothing has really changed other than the distribution across clubs and leagues.

We tried - they got buried quickly in all the girls ECNL talk.

I’m still curious where the MLSN2 team lineup is going to come from. Will everybody put their second team in MLSN2 (SYC, BSC, Alexandria etc.) or will they demote some under performing teams from the top tier to tier 2?

That'd be correct if all 8 teams attracted players equally. The top players will be spread across the 4 ECNL teams, where they used to be spread across 5 ECNL teams, so ECNL teams should be stronger next year.

The RL teams become MLSN2. And given the RL teams have already beaten a few MLSN2 teams, it should already tell you there is not alot of kids that will get displaced. I suspect given the MLSN will draw talent, you will see demotion of a few players from each NVA team. That will have some additional chain effects. And some boys will leave club all together.

Announcement will most likely be a MLSN/GA dual announcement to give the idea of the Alliance.

BSC is not going GA, at least not this year.
Arlington is def not going GA.

nva just announced ids again. My guess is they cant announce unless they contractually bring the girls n guys

Quotes on here say they are not announcing so LS can clean up all their GA rosters, saving most for their own players, then the GA announces that both TSJ and VRSC get moved to GA2 or aspire when it’s too late for the players to go anywhere else. More dirty tricks by these clubs and leagues to squeeze out their competition.
