Just an FYI, a club tying 4 times won’t cut it for nationals. Tough teams out west. |
not sure. looks like a random pdf that they can send when necessary but haven't posted publicly. admitedely smart move to list nva and loudoun as if they're separate organizations and for the ceo to put his lieutenants in the crosshairs by leaving his name off the press release. |
Let me just say, no shade intended, but this is just my two cents... The 2012 team? Totally overrated, like for real. Every time we face them, I'm bracing for a gnarly match, and yeah, it used to be a showdown. But, since the era of Coach Bruh took over (you know, the guy with his whole fam coaching at the club) and let the technical director's kid play up, they’ve kinda lost their mojo. Must be that classic case of bogus coaching. The girls themselves? They’re alright. Anyway, good vibes to them... I hope they find a righteous club where they can grow, and more importantly, don't end up quitting like a bunch of LS players who get their spirits crushed by those soul-sucking coaches. |
Not hiding yet posting under that cloak of anonymity. So bold, so edgy lol |
yes it was states both NVA and RL would be GA1. GA is not very competitive and RL girls will have no problem winning games. I suspect loudoun would also get a 3rd aspire team. |

The addition of all the great talent from NVA, RL, McLean makes GA more competitive. Not more competitive than ecnl but can’t dispute that GA mid atlantic will be better next season than this one. |
Per the MLS Next press release in January… “Players competing in the new tier will also be eligible to play high school soccer.” It did not specify which tier. My son is a junior now, so it doesn’t matter. He will play HS regardless what league his team is in. |
The new tier is tier two or mlsnext2. No hs play for the regular mlsnext. It won’t matter, these teams won’t be competitive in a near professional league. |
Where's the announcement from GA welcoming NVA/LS like they did with McLean? Why the delay? |
Not really. Teams that were playing north in Baltimore, Pennsylvania and New Jersey will now play mediocre teams in Loudoun x 5. McLean and NVA are not close to teams in pa. This reduces league play and over saturated the market for girls. |
Loudoun teams will be gutted by other ECNL teams and you won’t have a great team. NVA s teams were already on decline. If there’s anything Loudoun is good at…it’s messing up high school level Club teams |
There should be two different announcements if GA is accepting them as different clubs. If there's only 1, then NVA/LS are continuing their fraudulent ways. |
Check back on Monday and Thursday. |
That’s some mighty fine mental gymnastics. It’s simple math. NOVA is losing 25% of its ECNL players as it goes from 4 to 3 teams. Maybe more if you count a few good ECNLRL players. Where do you think these players will go but GA? You can’t make every thing that happens be bad for GA and be taken seriously. Sun’s out today? Let me explain why this is bad for GA. |
